h1210 Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Squad now on the OS City squad in full: Weale, Logan, Adams, Hobbs, Morrison, Kennedy, Berner, Parkes, King, Oakley, N'Guessan, Dyer, Wellens, Verma, Fryatt, Campbell, Howard No Gally or Vitor. Good to see Berner back.
Sods Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Thanks for that, so very helpful. Yeah all friendlies you will be able to pay on th gate.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Great news that Berner is in that squad. Though looking at it, we have a shortage of strikers without Gally in it.

1964FOX Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Tickets for the match are available at their main ticket office from 0930 on the day till 1200 and then a ticket office is open in the north stand (where we will be) from 1330. Spoke to someone n their ticket office today, also said their is a pub close by called the Priory (so that's where all those celebrities really go - hope susan boyle not still there) that is away fan friendly.
Walshy5 Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Any know how bad vitors injury is? Hope he,s going to be ready for the start of the season because we seem a bit short in defensive numbers
Walshy5 Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 is gally injured to ? I get the impression sousa's not a big fan of gally because he,s not featured much so far
milan_foxes Posted 23 July 2010 Author Posted 23 July 2010 Any know how bad vitors injury is? Hope he,s going to be ready for the start of the season because we seem a bit short in defensive numbers I think he'll be in the squad for P'boro & Sunderland or just Sunderland but they're not risking a slight knock he picked up in Slovenia.
davieG Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 I get the impression sousa's not a big fan of gally because he,s not featured much so far Not sure why as he's been on the OS and the Merc extolling the merits of the Sousa revolution and how he loves playing his style of football. http://www.lcfc.com/...2096315,00.html http://www.thebluear...il/article.html
1964FOX Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 In my opinion Gally had a really good game at Rotherham and adding this to his recent comments I would hope he is being rested so Sousa can look at others. Also I think the player list for Rotherham shown on the OS was actually short of a few players that actually turned up on the night and played so he might be there anyway.
OUFCFan Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Oxford wise I'd not say many. You are all welcome for a friendly drink in the Priory &.... I'm not going but you might get a thousand or 2 Oxford? Maybe more. It shouldn't be 'all ticket' seeing as its a friendly and that Kass Stad holds 12,500
andy_croydz Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 I get the impression sousa's not a big fan of gally because he,s not featured much so far Isn't he injured at the moment? I heard he was carrying a knock last week.
OUFCFan Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Worley will get a run out seeing as its his first game with a new contract. Not that you care But we've made 11 signing this summer and they'll probably all feature, along with 'the other 11'

What time will you be in the Priory from?
1964FOX Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Hope to be in the priory around 12.30-1.00 depending o. Journey not sure if it's a decent route time wise

davieG Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Paulo Sousa makes two changes from the team that faced Rotherham Untied. Bruno Berner returns to the defence and Matty Fryatt comes into the side in place of Paul Gallagher. Jack Hobbs will lead the team out as captain for today's match. City line-up to face Oxford United: Weale, Adams, Hobbs ©, Morrison, Berner, Campbell, Wellens, King, Dyer, Fryatt, Howard Subs: Oakley, N'Guessan, Logan, Parkes, Verma, Kennedy
ousefox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Anyone know what formation that is? Looks like Campbell on the right wing unless it's a 4-3-3 but then Wellens and King are both central midfielders and Dyer is a winger so..........
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Not sure what formation that is. Maybe Cambell on the right wing? Cant be playing a attacking midfielder or Dyer would surely not be playing. Interesting that Adams is still at RB. Anyone know what formation that is? Looks like Campbell on the right wing unless it's a 4-3-3 but then Wellens and King are both central midfielders and Dyer is a winger so.......... You beat me to it, basically same post as mine!

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Why do we only have 6 subs?! Thats worrying really.
lcfcsnow Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Why do we only have 6 subs?! Thats worrying really. If we're short on players theres no harm naming John, Schlupp, Crncic as subs as well.
