Just interested to hear what everyone's thoughts are for the season e.g. who will be top scorer? Who will be the first manager to be sacked? etc.

Andy King with most people in his pocket over the course of a season

Paulo Sousa to be the cause of most feminine wetness in the league.

And there was me thinking some numpty had Lcfc 10/11 to win the title. Please make the thread more interesting debate than just throw open a random word to discuss as it just gets so very juvenile.

1st: Forest

2nd: Leicester

3rd: Burnley

4th: Reading

5th: Sheff Utd

6th: Doncaster

First manager sacked: Brian Laws/ Malky Mackey

Top Scorer: Billy Sharp/ Chopra (If he stays)/ Dj Campbell

Sousa will be out by December as those who so quickly forgave Campbell (for goals he scored in pointless training matches they never saw) will bray for him to be out as they demand a top two slot.

for me,

1st - Reading

2nd - Forest

3rd - QPR

4th - Middlesbrough

5th - Doncaster

6th - Preston N.E

11th - Leicester

This is what i feel at this moment in time, however if we get some good signings in who knows !!

My only prediction would be Leicester to head up the Championship. Why would I /want/ to predict anything else? I feel the same as predicting anyone other than Hamilton winning a Grand Prix - I want to cheer him on not some other guy!

So LCFC 1st - the rest I could care less about.

how can people say sousa will get sacked and we will finish lower down ! :frusty:

were playing more attacking style means more goals , and were not buying no one because hes not buying a load of dead wood in the squad if he brings some one in it has to be better than the people we all ready have. i only think we need a rb and maybe a couple of other players for back up. and look at forest losing players and not getting no one in and they can come 2nd ? :S

so cmon lads get behind them :scarf::appl::chant:

We'll score more goals, concede less goals and gain more points than last season, all this whilst playing some attractive football.

I wouldn't be particularly confident of scoring more.

Sousa's Swansea just loved the 0-0s

And our strikers are shit.

Saying that, I think we'll finish just outside the playoffs, maybe sneak in again. The league as a whole is worse than last year.

With all due respect Matty Fryatt and DJ Campbell are a LOT better than Gorka Pintado and Shefki Kuqi.

The reason Sousa's playing style did so well for the Swans last season is because they had a good midfield who could keep the ball and pass it about without loosing it. I don't think Leicesters midfield matches that of Swans last season and there is still a lot of work to be done and quality signings to be made.

Also there is a possibility that we will have a poor start to the season as the players would still need time to adjust to the new style of play. I'm sure Swansea had the same problem last season but were quick to sort it out.

My prediction:

1. Middlesbrough

2. Reading

3. Nottingham Forest

4. Burnley

5 & 6 : Anyone between. Ipswich, QPR, Cardiff, Leicester, Hull, Sheff Utd
