Wales v Luxemburg

It was astonishing that he didn't start the game, given his performance at the end of last season and the start of this season. Wales' starting XI seemed to have 2 midfield players in it - it was like there was some sort of conspiracy to stop him from playing.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. He is overlooked too often - hopefully this goal will help his cause for a start. I shall look forward to watching the highlights.

On the scoresheet for Wales in the 5-1 win over Luxembourg.

Well done to the lad.

Starting the season in fine fashion, let's hope we don't get a £3-5 million bid from some team on transfer deadline day. Massive season for Kingy, I feel he could boom 20 if he get's forward more under Sousa.

The lads goalscoring record is unbelievable, at least Thracian was correct about one thing.

It is. Pearson deserves great credit for seeing what he could do and putting him in the team straight away, and sticking with him.

The amount of goals he scores is tremendous, hope we can hang on to him for a while.

First off, most exciting news here, is we have a better kit than you lot again for the first time after we cancelled the contract with Kappa.

Hooped socks, what a beaut.

Eh. You're hugely biased, really. I've explained before - as delighted as I am to see a promising and fast improving City player in the Wales squad - he's way down the pecking order. He got a good run out last night because of injuries to premiership trio Ramsey, Williams and Collison but with the three of them in the squad along with Joe Ledley and the "experienced" (relative to our squad of babies) Brian Stock then you can't really call it a "conspiracy" if King doesn't play.

A lot of people are caught up in the belief that Wales are just shit and, yes, there's fair merit in that. But all banter aside, as I've explained countless times on here, midfield is by far our strongest position when we've got a fully fit squad out and you're just going to have to be patient with Andy King.
