Oakley looks comfortable in that DM role. Not got the legs anymore but I am one that has always rated him, breaks up play and a very good passer and therefore deserves to keep his place. I didnt think dyer did much yesterday so id play gally instead but otherwise spot on.
shiv Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 I'd pick the same line up as against Boro. Neilson looked decent, he seems in good form atm.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Yep same team as Boro for me too. The only change I'd consider is Fryatt for Howard but that might be a bit hasty. Howard simply came up against a monster in Wheater yesterday, hopefully he'll get more change off the Burnley centre-halves.
lcfcbradyboy Posted 15 August 2010 Author Posted 15 August 2010 i thought neilson play good the first 2 games but against boro i felt he was going back to hitting the balls into the air and went to no one and when lamey came on i thought he looked great

As for Neilson most of the time he had no winger in front of him as an outlet and the midfield was covered / stood off from him so I'm not surprised he was hitting aimless balls forward.

Agreed, I personally can't understand how everyone on here and on RL came to the conclusion that Lamey was awesome......but oh well.

Are you sure? He hit one dodgy one but they all reached Leicester shirts. He also bombed forward at electric speed. Obviously he didn't have enough time to really show what he can do but I thought he looked exciting when he came on. Looked anything but nervous if you ask me.
Simmo86 Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Imo Lamey was average when he came on yesterday, but in future I think he'll probably be a better option a right back for us playing 4-3-3. Impressed with Robbie yesterday though.

Looked anything but nervous if you ask me. 99.99% I commented on it at the time adding them up as he produced them. I guess at best it could have been 3 from his first 4 but hey let's not make a big issue of it, it wasn't a condemnation of him just an observation to balance the he was 'perfect' view.
Unabomber Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 GK: Weale RB: Neilson (first name on the team sheet) CB: Moreno CB: Hobbs LB: Berner DM: Wellens CM: King AM: Gallagher RWF: Dyer CF: Howard LWF: DJ
ibbosuk Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Hopefully the team for the Burnley game will have a couple of "Quality additions". We definately need to have more options going forward or we are going to be "Another Swansea" More firepower from midfield, more match winners in the team.. £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££
Dylan Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Not been to any of the games so far, so this is going on commentary. Weale Neilson - Hobbs - Moreno - BernerOakley - WellensKingDyer - - - - - - - - - - - - - CampbellFryatt Think Neilson deserves to start. Fryatt should start, use Howard as an impact sub. And Dyer and Campbell on the wings.
lcfcbradyboy Posted 15 August 2010 Author Posted 15 August 2010 3 reasons y i wanted lamey to start 1. Much Quciker 2. Good at getting forward 3. Better Passer but fair play to neilson good assist to andy king vs palace and a goal vs macclesfield but i do think lamey should start

Better Passer but fair play to neilson good assist to andy king vs palace and a goal vs macclesfield but i do think lamey should start In al fairness, Robbie seems to have picked up the knack for getting forward so that's not really valid. I've only seem Lamey play on Saturday so not nearly enough to judge on properly.
HonradaRaposa Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Hopefully this week Sousa will be able to bring in some players so we never have to rely on the dithering Howard or shambolic Dyer unless it is an emergency.
Simmo86 Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Hopefully this week Sousa will be able to bring in some players so we never have to rely on the dithering Howard or shambolic Dyer unless it is an emergency. Really?? Been one of our best players for me
Leicester Rule! Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Really?? Been one of our best players for me I think both of the players this guys mentioned have played well this season .....
ibbosuk Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Hopefully this week Sousa will be able to bring in some players so we never have to rely on the dithering Howard or shambolic Dyer unless it is an emergency. Except the Howard comment..............But Dyer is, and has always been, a quality player for Leicester.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Same team as 'Boro for me. Neilson has improved a 100-fold on his performances from last season. Don't see the need to drop Howard as he was quality when he came on against Palace and against Macclesfield in the cup. I think he struggled in the air yesterday but he still held the ball up well when it came into his feet.

Guest Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Yeah agree with this, got to give lamey a good go, Nielson's had plenty of chances and tbh not taken them, Lamey = future At 30 years old? Hardly a long future is it?
Bugg Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Yeah agree with this, got to give lamey a good go, Nielson's had plenty of chances and tbh not taken them, Lamey = future What? He's been quality so far this season and dropping him is unfair.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 I'd play the same team that started on Saturday, maybe with Fryatt in for DJ.
