xplicitmaterial Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Personally i want united at old trafford as my family are man utd fans, so when we beat them i can sit and take the piss for months Who would other ppl like? easier team? or a glamour tie?
xplicitmaterial Posted 25 August 2010 Author Posted 25 August 2010 Yeah if we didnt get United i'd settle with newcastle or sunderland away so i dont have to travel far
danielpholt Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Is it wrong of me for wanting a comfortable home tie? I really don't wanna be walking home from the walkers at 2 in the morning.
VampLCFC Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Would be great to have a night out at Old Trafford or Eastlands etc..... But I'm going to have to be boring and wish for a team at home that we can beat!
bettso Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Old trafford yes please, I'm at uni in Manc! Arsenal away.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 If it's at home, I'm not bothered, if it's away, somewhere good that's worth sploshing the money on going to, not somewhere like Swansea or Nowrich. Or the fear of Partsmouth Away on the Tuesday night on the Cup, followed by Portsmouth Away in the league three days later And I may aswell put it here, because no point starting a new thread. Just been flicking through the advance Sky schedule online, and it turns out that the 4th round of the CC is the week commencing the 25th October. Meaning we're scheduled to play Swansea live on a Monday night on the week of the fourth round. Meaning either we play Monday-Wednesday, or Monday-Thursday (surely meaning our game against Preston is put back to Sunday), or (probably most likely) have our CC 4th round tie put back a week. Well done Sky (If we win our 3rd round of course )
LoughboroughFox Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Notts away, not been there for a few years!
nuttytimmy Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Wow! A topic on this forum about football!↲↲I'd like a good away tie vs a top PL club - not a boring tie vs a Blackburn or West Ham, but Arsenal, Utd, etc.etc.
Fosse Boy Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Somewhere I can stand free would be nice. Not sure why everyone's obsessed with getting one of the "big boys"? We want to progress in this tournament and it'll be a right rube-fest if we do get one of them.
Fox92 Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Although I'd like to visit the likes of Old Trafford or Anfield again etc I'd like to see us go through to the next round, therefore, I would like a tie that we could win (hopefully!). Knowing our luck though we'll get Swansea or something,
James. Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Any team that is big enough to warrant showing the game on Sky.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 As much as we'd love a visit to a quality Premiership ground in London so we can have an epic day out, we aren't that lucky with ties. If we get a Premiership tie it'll be Wigan. At home. At least it'll be winnable.
nothin2seehere Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Spurs or Arsenal away, but preferably Spurs. Otherwise, a team we can beat.
xplicitmaterial Posted 25 August 2010 Author Posted 25 August 2010 Yeah i'd love to see us progress to the next round, but like its already been said, we will play a boring team away more than likely
milan_foxes Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 An average team, somewhere near us on the map. Comfortable victory and not to far to travel.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Any Premiership side, preferably at home.
