Are you a Fosse Boy that was turned away on Saturday?

When I saw a photo of them in the Mercury recently, I thought it was some kind of joke. Loads of little boys and pre-teens waving their hands and things!

Surely that must have been the wrong photo that was used?

That's probably because there's over 100 pages in the main Fosse Boys thread where people repeatedly ask the kind of questions you've been asking, the Fosse Boys answer them again and again and again, and then someone asks the same question but makes it sound all hostile and snarky, and the whole thing begins again. Probably, other people (who may lack my saintly patience) expected you to read through some of that thread rather than expect your questions to be answered for the hundredth and something time.

Doesn't the antagonism with the stewards spoil your enjoyment of the game?

Many thanks for the piece that appeared in today's Mercury. I'm glad to see that the editor is taking an interest.

We eagerly await the club's reaction.

Meanwhile a copy of Fosse Boy's post from the other thread detailing Saturday's events has been sent to the office of the chairman and chief executive. An acknowledgement has already been received and a full reply will follow later in the week.

I hope they will respond positively to the issues that were raised.

on a side issue I was told that if I removed my own ticket stub again (something I have done to EVERY game since the Walkers has opened) I would be refused entry. I like many others are starting to feel uncomfortable, unwanted and disillusioned by the actions of the club

I had that this week for the first time ever!

Every week I part remove my stub while I'm waiting in line and when I get to the gate i tear the rest out in front of the steward. When I started tearing this week they said 'Oi! Leave that - you shouldn't do that.

Trying to be helpful and speed up the entry but fuck it

Also - why do they need to check my ticket 3 times before I get to my seat?!

I had a couple of issues on this last season.

While I can understand the potential for possible misuse, the paranoia at the turnstiles was a little disturbing..

Im full of support for what the Fosse Boys are trying to achieve, as i alluded to in my post in the main thread im not a member myself. They make the matchday experience a whole lot better and it's a joy to watch fans supporting the club in their own way.

Heard a Steward telling some guy on Saturday that he had been targeted for persistant standing. He had been pointed out from the Boro game and the stewards were told to keep an eye on him.

This despite the other people who stand around him (this was around SK4 by the way!) When he argued his case the steward, who seemed to know him, basically agreed with everything he said. Fair play to the steward to be fair, he was only trying to warn him of what was going to happen, but then one thing really annoyed me.

The guy asked how could they point him out and make him sit when there are literally hundreds of people in the east stand who will not sit down. The steward just told him that they were told to stay away and let them get on with it over there. View from a distance.

It's blatently one rule for one and another for another. They can't enforce the rules if they are not going to apply them to everyone in the gorund. They can't be bothered to enforce the "no standing rule" (a battle they would never win over in that part of the ground) and it does kinda make you feel victimised

Just took a look at the photo on that article, fairly sure we were stood right near you at Burnley. If it was you, it was good to hear some renditions of 'When you're tired and weary' and 'Molly Mallone' amongst others (although there was one about Derby and Spurs I didn't recognise). You were only let down slightly by the one lad who thought it was appropriate to sing jump up if you love Leicester for a tedious amount of time when we were 3-0 down towards the end, most of his mates looked fed up with him!

Was this where SK3 meets SK4? If so it was probably the same steward I spoke to at the Boro game who was fine about us standing and looked a bit embarrassed when the "big guns" were sent in to get us to sit. Not sure if I'll go into SK4 again cause there isn't a lot of standing, gonna try SK2 or SK3. Was in K all of last season and bought tickets online but it won't let me buy more than 1 ticket there anymore for any matches :dunno:, anyone know if more people got season tickets there this year?
