well, there are some tosspots out there. Sousa out after 4 league games? I seem to remember a certain Irish manager we had some time ago, and the same sort of tosspots were calling for his head. If you'd got your way then the whole history of the club would have been changed. No wonder Martin was pissed off with you all at that time, and he never forgot it..

I'm sorry, we all love the club, but you armchair managers really get on my tits.

we need stability and it will take some time, we're not going to get it by continually changing managers.

Out for me, not a big fan of the bloke, i dont think he can communicate in English very well after hearing interviews with him. His playing style is defined and seems very limited, if he wants to succeed he needs to have a different style when the first style doesnt work. I dont think his signings have been inspiring and I think him giving DJ another chance has disrupted the harmony in the team.

Yeh let's get a good English manager in like Martin O'Neill or Jock Wallace.

I disagree pretty much 100% with every thing you say but you're entitled to your opinion i suppose.

Who in the right mind would sack a manager 4 games in? it seems like complete nonsense to me, theyve got to have at least in my opinion a season!-but, with leicesters track record i cant see that happening if he fails to produce results. im still shocked to see that pardew has been shocked by the saints!

I Didn't say get an Englishman in i said his communication doesn't seem strong. If he can't speak to the media and understand what they have asked him (which so many of you seem to think he did) then how can he communicate to the squad in the dressing room and on the training ground? So you don't think DJ has unsettled the squad? You think Sousas signings have been good so far? You have seen different dimensions to his play? Rather than just disagreeing and saying You suppose i'm entitled to my opinion try backing your opinion up with why you think that way.

Thanks im known for my riposte. The fact you didn't put any points in, other than telling me im entitled to my own opinion. Your opinion just seems to be one line responses to peoples posts without expanding on what people actually ask you. Goodnight dear sir

Sorry I might have been being a bit ironic in my comments.

I don't understand why this kind of poll has been started ? At the end of the day with any new changes to a club in management changes take time for people to adapt to. I think for the fact he is the first foreign manager in the clubs history plays a part for criticism from people, If Pearson last year was to have had the same start i wonder if people around here would have had the same feelings. Time and Time again you hear people saying its not fair how managers have such a short life span well you can see why give the guys games to settle his changes and adjust don't all jump on a sacking bandwagon its ridiculous :(

Discussion is a healthy thing, and this is the place to do it - as well as in those buildings that sell ale - but can we really be serious about removing Sousa after 6 games?

Sousa may or may not turn out to be an O'Neill (and I know where the safe money is going on that one), but I do remember 10 or 11 games of increasing frustration shortly before the Club and Fans enjoyed a glorious era of footballing achievements in the late 90's under the management of the bhoy's bound St. Martin.

I am not suggesting that I think we will be in Europe in two seasons time, but because City fans have high expectations (rightly so) and because we have seen it all over the past 10 years, we must not forget that solid foundations take time to bed in. Real growth is organic, and the surest way to achieve success - unless the chairman is uber-minted, a la Chelski - is to allow an ambitious manager to build a team and a style of football.

A point does need making: things are really frustrating right now, and the Team really does need a good run of form - AGREED!

However, managers are like the rest of us, they like some players, and not others. Let’s entertain the ridiculous and the Board removes Sousa: a new manager comes in and changes things round - players have to adapt AGAIN, new players are introduced to suit the new style of play... If the Board gives Sousa the tin tack, the players will have had three managers and three different management styles/tactics/approaches within 3 months.

Cast your mind back a few seasons ago; it was this type of revolving door policy for the Managers that got the Club relegated to division three, burdened us with a very large squad and a huge wage bill through all the cast-offs and knee jerk buys from a collection of previous Bosses.

It may turn out that Sousa is not the man for Leicester, but it is a huge mistake to sack any manager after 6 games into the season. When he was sacked at QPR, I remember thinking that they were not being realistic; but this is how the fans and clubs want things done - and we wonder why teams languish in a state of under-achievement for decades.

As with any new player or manager, let’s constantly assess his performance but make no decisions before he has had the job for three to four months.

P.S. One obvious proviso: if we lose four games on the bounce, spin his guts for Top's garters. Up the City!

If after 10 or 12 games we are still in the bottom 3 then he will go, no doubt about it. It was a terrible appointment that says alot about the lack of clear thinking/continuity at the top of the club. He will now presumably be given the sort of funds that Pearson could only dream of. Pearson was much more than a long ball merchant, we played some good stuff under him, a pleasing mixture of styles. Still, I really do want to see him succeed but if he does have to go then I hope there's still some money left in the kitty!
