Sacking someone so early is ridiculous, doesn't matter how many points we have from our first 4 league games, it's a stupid thing to do.

Just imagine if we did, what would happen?

The only thing that would do is make us more likely to fail. I find it hard to believe that there would be anyone good enough to take the job after Sousa. Thinkg about it. It would be a poisoned challice. Your going into a squad which doesn't have it's own identity and has no idea whether it's coming or going. There is no best 11, there is no formation everybody is used to and half the players don't even know where they're supposed to be playing. You'll presumably be given some funding, but you can't spend until January and by that time the new owners will be expecting you to be at the top of the freaking table. What sensible manager is going to want to manage us with Milan's track record? Which will surely be worsened now we've got Asian investors who have probably never kicked a football in their lives. Bring back O'Neill? I wish. The only managers that would take a job here if Sousa were to get the sack would be people like Dowie. You can jog on if you think that's wise.

After everything that has happened since the end of last season, with all the hidden goings on with Pearson and now the consortium, what the players need is some stability. What Sousa needs to do is bring in a couple loanees where he thinks we are we weak, find a formation/starting 11 he is happy with and to stick with it. Our problem at the minute is a lack of consistency, our squad has a proven ability, all be it under a different manager, that can see us much higher in the table.

The consortium and the fans need to be patient, the wins will come...

I don't like the results that the club have managed in the league so far, but asking whether we should consider sacking our manager after 4 games is unbelievable.

I never wanted to see NP leave but he has and now Sousa is the one that has been appointed to try and take the club forward. We need to give him a chance. Sousa and Pearson are completely different managers and have a completely different style of play, and if people expected the team to master the 'Sousa Style' after just pre-season then they must be dreaming. The League games will be a lot faster than the games of pre-season and it will take time for the players to adjust in how they need to play the game, not only to please the manager, but to please the fans aswell.

We have seen glimpses of what they can do this season but have been abit unlucky with the results. But hopefully with abit of time (the very near future would be nice) and some hard work, the results will come and the style of play should get easier for the players to work with.

he needs more time & now we have a couple of class players in it wont be long before we start picking up points for sure

He's had more time. We don't know IF he has brought in a couple of class players, because he never plays a system that tests them - or he doesn't pick them in the first place - or he drops them before we find out how good they are. I think he's on borrowed time now !

I voted Not yet - give him a few more weeks, but I think 2 games.. MAX ( a min of 4 points)

Sexy football is fine if you have a team full of Multi Million pound internationals. All we need to do is go back to the basics, play simple neat football, non of that "flouncy" passing. IMO playing that way is causing more problems at the moment , especially in defence. OK at times we have played not half bad, it does look good and is entertaining, but in reality we need results and NOW. We need back to back wins to breed a bit of confidence and also hopefully move us out of the bottom 3

I would be more than happy to take 6 points and be treated to 2 very dull, but technically sound games even if that meant a bit of 'route one' a a few hoofs to 'row Z' to be on the safe side instead of trying to look sexy whilst playing the passing game out of defence.

PS has to get his team selection right and play players in their correct role's and to their true strengths i.e. play Waggy up front as part of a 4 4 2 set up - not out wide - we have wingers for that job

Right I'll stop now and give someone else a chance or this will turn in to Lord Of The Rings part 4

I'm a bit worried at how delusional his comments to the media sound at times. I wouldn't sack him now as I'd like to think we've moved on from the age of 'Manager of the Month' referring to the Leicester recruitment policy.

Results are everything though. He needs a win against ScĂșnthorpe or the prospect of the squad jetting out to Thailand in International week when the should be on the training ground is not one that will sit well with the supporters.

If we're going to camp in the bottom three, he should go well before Xmas to allow the new man to settle in, find a striker that's actually going to threaten to score double figures this season - and settle down the defence.

It's a fuklin disgrace. PS doesn't play the right team, how can he start with Vitor & Morrison? Conrad has done well, and not at fault tonight, but where was Weale? Why play Waghorn wide right? Holloway did that to Fryatt for a goal return of 5. We are in massive trouble, make no mistake. We need a change. I don't believe the players have any belief in either themselves or their manager.

Milan was a disgrace too. Smiling and waving at Pompey fans isn't the way a chairman of a team beaten 6-1 should behave, regardless of his feelings. Very unprofessional.

Morrison needs a rest, confidence must be shot.

Sousa has to go now for me, I can't believe the transformation in a team NP built & was successful. Again Milan is to blame for this situation.

Yeah i cant see anything changing soon,he might get away with it in the premiership but this is the championship,i still cant believe we let pearson walk but of course it looks better to have a well known ex world international in charge when youre trying to sell a club.
