PS has inherited a situation created by MM and the lack of clarity which is now clearly causing a greatly divided opinion and a whole loaad of unnecessary pressure. Whether he stays or goes time will tell - the real issue is our club which is being dicked around

Exactly with the lose cannon that is Milan Manadric still chairman, No doubt our new owners want instant success (More so than the fans possibly) be honest Sousa will not last be here past October, Maybe end of September in current form. I'm not hitting the panic button yet because one win and we'll be up to mid-table and alot of what has happened with be forgotton, but there is a bit of worry, fear and question's for Sousa to put a stop to, He's still gotta be given time but people are very nieve if they thing some of our fans, chairman and new owners will give Sousa time, It doesn't work like that and people should know that by now.

You have every right tp post what you want but at the end of the day you like me have the best interests of our club in mind. We will still be here in years to come, we need to support what we have at present and give it time to work. Supporting someone when they are up against it is the best way to assist them.
l444ry Posted 30 August 2010 Posted 30 August 2010 For fooks sake! Sousa needs time to build the squad in his image. He needs time to get to know who the dressing room shysters are. He hardly knows the players strengths and weaknesses yet. It's obvious he'll make mistakes. The important thing is that he demonstrates the ability to learn from them quickly. Why not point the finger at the clown that let Pearson go? Nigel Pearson had built a squad based on his direct, no nonsense style of play. Sousa has a completely different philosophy. What was going through this man's mind to think it would all work seamlessly?

It is pretty much formed in my mind as to whats going to happen, the next 3 games are going to be crucial for Sousa, Coventry A Cardiff H QPR H If we only take say, 1 point from those 3 games, given the rumblings of discontent, and the players transfer requests, Mandy will be sharpening his much used axe around the Portsmouth fixture.

In appointing a foreign manager - with all the communication difficulties that he brings with him - and inevitably prompting major changes to staff and style which should have been made gradually we have created serious problems which won't easily go away whatever we do and which may have long-term implications. I'd doubt Wayne Brown's departure helped the unity within our club but instead of acting to re-establish that unity City are fast becoming a foreign leagion football club with increasingly less professional connection to Leicester or even England. If Sousa goes, the new foreign signings will still be here rather like the Kaebis, Laczcos and Boris of yesteryear... great! If Sousa stays the remaining English contingent will likely move away to be replaced by more foreign signings and the prospect that, if Sousa leaves, they will doubtless want to leave too. Sousa's appointment seems to have been thoughtless to me - and imposed on us by yet more foreigners. And yet I wholeheartedly approve of our moving towards a footbaling style of play because, as I've said before, Pearson's style was limited, uninspiring and was unlikely to get us to the Premiership much less keep us there. Already under Sousa there are signs that we can produce a much more entertaining and, eventually, effective team but, to do that, we really have to make some drastic changes to our philosophy even given the wisdom of playing passing football. Cos the players are 100% per cent right about the training and our lack of fitness and our failings in terms of dead ball kicks are embarrassing. So much so that I'd have a new training specialist appointed immediately. And what a busy man he'd be!. Realists will have seen that we could easily have been sitting on six points by now but none of that disguises the fact that wearen't scoring enough, have weaknesses in too many places and have a sot defensive underbelly. Sadly for Sousa, the nature of expectations at City - and the undercurrent of dislike for him among many - means that he will have to put things right sooner rather than later. I, for one, hope he does and that he becomes a better manager for it. Cos one point from 12 with our players is a joke.

Hopefully it means he can't use the funds yet and there still in place for the next manager. As he said at this rate we will be left with a squad full of foreign shite and end up having to pay them all off leaving us skint for the next few years ala Mandys first year. Sergio Hellings, Casino Jimmy, Kaeibi etc
