monsgon Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Tickets for the kop for gold games are £26 pounds and for big games £30 do we really need owners scamming money out of us
Jimmy Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 they were set like that in the summer nowt to do with the owners and btw take a look at what other clubs charge at this level, ours are quite reasonable
LCFC-ARAB Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I dont think it's the owners, It's just the price of watching football in this country nowadays if you cant afford it, you just simply arent wanted at football anymore

monsgon Posted 7 September 2010 Author Posted 7 September 2010 they were set like that in the summer nowt to do with the owners and btw take a look at what other clubs charge at this level, ours are quite reasonable the deal was done at the cardiff game
Jimmy Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 the deal was done at the cardiff game yes but ticket prices were set well before that, they would of been set, if not announced, when they announced Season Ticket prices as they are taken into account when ST prices are set so that ST's work out to around £11-15 per match
monsgon Posted 7 September 2010 Author Posted 7 September 2010 QPR - £20 Cardiff - £18 Ipswith- £26 Leeds- £18 Burnley-£26 Norwich tuesday night game- £21 Coventry-£16 Forest-£21 Derby-£25

Kilworthfox Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Tickets for the kop for gold games are £26 pounds and for big games £30 do we really need owners scamming money out of us How about an option for they are fine as they are?
hackneyfox Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Martin O'neil's gone- MONSGON Apologies, from the poll you had created, which was so one sided, I thought it was meant to Mongson
Jackirius Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 QPR - £20 Cardiff - £18 Ipswith- £26 Leeds- £18 Burnley-£26 Norwich tuesday night game- £21 Coventry-£16 Forest-£21 Derby-£25 Norwich games are quite resonable and they always have promotions on like half price tickets or under 16s go free or for £1. But the tickets (leicester) are very expensive, especially when you have to travel from the back end of Norfolk to a game.
Fox92 Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I agree with you, monsgon, football's ticket prices are overpriced, but its obviosuly not just Leicester, because that is an average price. if you cant afford it, you just simply arent wanted at football anymore I think thats abit unfair to say really, it depends on the supporter, such as their location in England. Football prices altogether are getting ridiculas. Take Coventry for example, and I know its a local derby but, £25 for an adult, yet Portsmouth was well cheaper and they are in admin!

It wasn't said to be fair, If football clubs wanted to attract working class men to football like it used to back in the day they would make it a lot more affordable, compared to prices in Europe 30 quid for a second division game is a joke ticket prices is just 1 of many many things wrong with the game in this country but i'm a mug, so i'll just shut up and pay
lildave3 Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I voted they should be increased, keep the riff raff out.
broughtonblue Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I started a thread similar to this a few weeks ago 'priced out'. After 35 years of watching lcfc I decided at £28 for me And £18 each for two kids I just couldn't afford it anymore. Then for the reading match when the club knew it would struggle to sell tickets cos it was on the box I get a call from 'the birch' saying please come back. Feck off. Prices are outrageous now to watch what is after all 2nd div football.
broughtonblue Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 I voted they should be increased, keep the riff raff out. Keep the riff raff out? Rooney, crouch, a.cole, j. Terry (cheating on wives/girlfriends) lee Hughes (death by driving) m.king (assault) aern't the riff raff the ones we pay to watch? Anymore I've missed?

I just think I got the wrong end of it. However, I didn't call you a mug.
Donut Posted 9 September 2010 Posted 9 September 2010 The tickets certainly shouldnt go up any further I think someone eluded to earlier in this post that we need to take into account geographical locations of clubs when analysing their ticket prices. I can (barely) understand a club in the london/south east region charging around the £30 mark but having clubs like Ipswich and Burnley charging the prices they do (Ipswich have season tickets for over £1000 WTF) charging so much is crap. The football 'fan' demographic is not the same as it once was and as long as Sky TV rules the game with its iron fist then it will never return to a working class supporter base.
