Leicester City FC v Fosse Boys - the latest chapter

After the appalling treatment dished out by stewards at the Reading game, many eyes were focused on the Fosse Boys during the Foxes-Cardiff clash.

As in previous games, the Fosse Boys gathered in the upper reaches of the furthest corner of SK1. A lone steward, clearly entrusted with the task of surveillance, watched benignly during the first half as the group sang, danced, and on occasion even sat down as per the agreement struck with senior club officials.

It is to the enormous credit of the Fosse Boys that they remained disciplined and impeccably-behaved.They continued to sing incessantly in support of the team and played their part (along with Andy King) in creating the best atmosphere seen and heard in the Kop for some time.

I thought you guys did a superb job this evening! I was sitting down in row H for the first half, but moved up to the seats a few rows in front of you at half time to join in with the vibe you were creating.

I heard the commotion in the first half but didn't realise it was because they'd nicked your flag!

Keep up the good work, the club are making themselves look stupid over this.

Me and a few friends joined you at half time and really enjoyed the atmosphere and loved some of the songs you've created, .....bloody hell though I didn't realise you were all so young !!.. Haha

Ok it was me who gave our banner to the steward, there was no sinister action from the club it was taken so that their maintainance guys can fix it onto the Perspex behind where we stand for the QPR match. It was not wrenched off us it was handed freely by me to the steward who stood to the side and had a polite conversation with me about the issue before I retrieved the banner. Negotiations around achieving this had gone on before the game. If anyone has any issues with this then they can come and speak to me at the Counting House before the QPR match. I expect the club will honour their promise to carry out this action, if they don't then we can start talking about lack respect between the two parties.

I see progress being made. :)

That steward has always acted like a tool and it certainly looked to me like he took it from the Fosse Boys maybe he should have thought his timing out properly because it sounds like THIS time he got a load of shit and didn't deserve it!! even though on many occasions he has

I'm a season ticket holder in SK2, and made an effort to look out for the fosse boys. what i saw was a bunch of lads standing, shouting and singing with complete disregard for every one else, including the stewards.

it looked fukcing brilliant!!!

seriously, I can't see any problem with flag waving where you are, you're not going to restrict anybody else's view are you? surely the club and stewards can see this? good luck lads, don' give up.

by the way, i liked the gang bang at half time!

It was all a big misunderstanding, the stewards came over and shouted me to go talk to them, i refused because i know the stewards are sneaky bastards! and if i was on my own down stairs i'd probably have been chucked out!

I still don't see why they would get the banner during the first half? bit of a stupid decision who over made it, which just caused a load of abuse to be thrown at the stewards. they dont want the aggro and are just doing what they are told

bit annoyed watching the goals on skysports news, you can clearly see a flag pole being waved on the front row of the kop, why the fuck is everybody allowed to do what they want apart from us? that really pissed me off

Great work by the Fosse Boys, well noticed and commented on by several kop old hands near us last night. It can't be a coincidence that the atmosphere along the back of the kop was much better than it usually is. More people standing, bouncing after the goals, and roaring on their support. Obviously it helps that the team were playing so well, and managed to get the goals, but the example set by the Fosse Boys played its part, no question. Keep it up, and we could soon have, if not a whole kop end bouncing for 90 minutes, at least a kop that can present an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams.

I was very impressed with the efforts by the Fosse boys last night. They managed to generate a great atmosphere throughout the whole Kop just by their non stop all dancing and all singing action in the corner. Also the numbers you had were impressive, there seemed to be a decent amount of you.

Long may it continue and grow.
