Ford Super Sunday Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 This is good news, even though I've just leant I don't have any classes on Monday at uni, meaning I could have made the trip. Still, it beats wasting a Monday travelling down and getting back. I suppose this means that Sky have cancelled us as the live game, because they have a live match on the Saturday evening, I believe. I feel sorry for the poor two clubs if they do move two other teams to a Monday night now. (if this is confirmed, of course)

As I said not confirmed yet and I am surprised Sky have been over ruled as they usually get what they want. So if true Sky being told what to do by the Footbal League also adds to the positive side.
Swansfan Posted 23 September 2010 Posted 23 September 2010 Leeds V Cardiff is now being shown on the monday at 7:45pm. So looks like the game has been moved back to the saturday at 3pm and is no longer on sky.

Sky have rights to 'x' amount of games in the Football League. They chose Swansea vs Leicester as their live match for that weekend and put it on the Monday night. Not Murdoch's fault we both progressed through in the Carling Cup, just unlucky although I doubt THAT many have booked trains/hotels to be honest.

Can't you get a cheap day single? They are usually around a tenner. We always got them when travelling from bristol and oxford.
