Lineker's Left Foot Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 I think us getting SGE is bigger than Cardiff getting Bellamy - and not just because SGE is a manager. This will send shockwaves throughout the Championship and with the identity/ies of the consortium members to be further announced, could we be on the verge of 'something big'. There is no other manager than raising the profile of the club than SGE could do - that we could attract - and maybe the unknown owners have silly money to spend.

Who knows whether us having Sven will be bigger than Cardiff having Bellamy. Too early to tell.

sdb Posted 3 October 2010 Posted 3 October 2010 it's not the same because Bellamy's stock was at arguably an all time high, where as we've got a manager who' s reputation has nose-dived over the last few years, rightly or wrongly. So no it's not the same, but it's cool, and The Championship getting a bit more glamour is definitely a good thing
