Fosse Boy Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Purely because i have always wanted to sing it . Don't ask why, because i haven't a clue. Got an airing at Blackpool last year if memory serves. The more I read that message the more ridiculous it sounds. Genuinely stupid.
1964FOX Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Got an airing at Blackpool last year if memory serves. The more I read that message the more ridiculous it sounds. Genuinely stupid. Replace 'we paid for your hats' with 'You South Yorkshire twats'
Fosse Boy Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Replace 'we paid for your hats' with 'You South Yorkshire twats' Going on previous dealings with the SYP, I somehow doubt they'd take it in jest.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Going on previous dealings with the SYP, I somehow doubt they'd take it in jest. I somehow doubt the SYP have a sense of humour at all. Worst police force in the country for football fans.
Fosse Boy Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 I somehow doubt the SYP have a sense of humour at all. Worst police force in the country for football fans. They're certainly up there with the Met, Northumbria and West Mids. However, I have seen two South Yorks officers try to bite their way into an inflatable sex doll. So that probably gives them the edge.
Rich Fox Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Shouldn't this info be in the thread in Tickets and Travel? Otherwise what's the point in having a dedicated forum? Lisa the guy from Barnsley has helped me out on here with my parking for Saturday so does it really matter?
barnsleyfc Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 if i had known then i would have put it in that bit as i did not know just thought i would give you abit of info and try to stop you from getting ripped off for parking when barnsley football club are possibly the cheapest for parking at a game in the championship
Guest Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 Lisa the guy from Barnsley has helped me out on here with my parking for Saturday so does it really matter? Actually, it does.
GLC Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 Sorry if it's in the wrong part But is anybody buying tickets to Barnsley at Oakwell? Because the away tickets have sold out, and i want to know if people have done it before and is it safe?

Asha Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 But is anybody buying tickets to Barnsley at Oakwell? is it safe? No, I hear a lot of people head to the ticket office on a matchday at Oakwell and don't come back.
GLC Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 My bad, close thread No, I hear a lot of people head to the ticket office on a matchday at Oakwell and don't come back.
The Doctor Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 buying tickets in the barnsley end? for your own safety don't wear city colours, don't sing leicester songs and don't celebrate leicester goals. probably better just to find a stream/ listening to the radio rather than sitting on your hands for 90 minutes trying not to celebrate.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 Yeah do that, If you can't get tickets in our end, go sit in the Barnsley end. Away fans are housed in the new North Stand, where the facilities are good. The normal allocation for away supporters is 2,000 tickets although, if demand requires it, then the whole of this stand can be allocated (6,000). You'll probs be able to get them.
Simmo86 Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 Its cash on the turnstile for City supporters. Theres 4000k spaces so you should be ok. Its what i'll be doing. How far's this leisure centre from the away end?
barnsleyfc Posted 5 November 2010 Posted 5 November 2010 just found out that the darts is on tomorrow at the metrodome so parking will be hard http://www.pdc.tv/page/NewsdeskDetail/0,,10180~2207033,00.html

thybluefox Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 Fella, what kind of time does the car park usually fill up? I was planning on getting there about 2 but I'm thinking it might have to be earlier now
barnsleyfc Posted 6 November 2010 Posted 6 November 2010 the best time is when we first open to get down left hand side we only park about 20 cars on that side and to say about 2 should be ok just depends on how many you are bringing and how many buses
