Just parked up on my street with a couple of lads, had a brief chat and he said he's enjoying life under Sven so far; out for around 2 weeks; loved the Thailand trip gelled the team together and disappointed for Sousa but it was coming - two words...great lad!

I think he should be converted to a striker, pace, power and a hell of a shot, he'd scare central defenders shitless

I'm surprised almost everyone thinks he's useless.

I've seen him and few times and I think he's alright. Has pace, strength, a decent shot and aerial presence, which is something we only see from our backline and Howard.

I would bet he would improve under Sven. But when i saw him in the main stand near to Milan and the Thai guys, he had his arms folded and looked p++++d off during the whole game. Perhaps if he did play he would be low on morale? :dunno:

getting injured just as new manager stars is extremely bad timing, he's probably just pished at that

he can become a really good player imo, just not had a good start to the season

I don't think he's ever really had the chance he deserves. I think we'd be better off with Moussa and DNG on either side than Gally and Oakley.

Let's sum up N'Guessan quickly and simply here.

Starting = poor.

Off the bench = monster.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out how we should be using him...

I've got a feeling that Sven will start to play him a lot more.

The thing with Dany is he seems to lose interest, if he could be aware and put effort in all match, IMO he would be one heck of a player.

Nguessan had a great game against Blackpool away last season. But too often his first touch lets him down. He needs to work on quickly getting the ball under control.

Any time I've heard him he's sounded stoned.

May explain a few things actually...

Interestingly I feel he first touch is usually ok, it's what he does next that is the issue.

When the ball is played up to him his control is usually ok and his first (possibly only) instinct is to drive for goal. This is great if if he is recieving the ball in or around the box, he is big and quite quick and often makes a yard or two of space, enough time to get off a shot or find a team mate.

However when played on the wing he has to do some work in midfield and drop back to cover his fullback so he often recieves the ball 40 or so yards out. Instead of doing the midfielder thing of controlling the ball and laying it off he does what he always does and runs at the box. He often gets past the first man but from 40 yards out he is never going to get past the second or third or fourth.....

When he gets the ball in forward positions he looks good, in deep positions he is hopeless, for me it is all about were he plays, if you are not going to play him well forward then don't bother.
