Seems like a right ball ache to get to Gigg Lane from Liverpool, can't find any trains leaving Manchester any later than about half 10/11, and that'd be pushing it seen as footballgroundguide says it's a tram and a 15 minute walk from the station. Tricky.

Last train leaves Man Piccadilly at 23-14 but only goes to Oxford Road when there's a replacement bus service to L'pool leaving at 23-27, arriving at 00-41. Any help?

The trams leave Bury every 12 minutes so realistically, you (and me plus a few others!) are looking at 9-48; 10 pm; 10-12; 10-24; and 10-36. The journey to Manchester Piccadilly Station takes 30 minutes so the 10-48, 11-00 and 11-12 (last one) are no good.

Apparently Bury have only lost one of their last eleven games including the 3-1 disposal of Coventry earlier this week.

But this is Leicester we are talking about. Extra-time? Penalties? Not a chance!

brilliant, so the tickets dont go on general sale until friday (my OH isnt a member so cant get tickets on member day), so presumably they dont want anyone to go to the game that doesnt live in leicester since theres no chance we can pick up tickets from the stadium, and how likely is it that the post will arrive in time for tuesday???

Just thought I would resurrect this thread seeing as I'm soon to become a north west fox.

Moving to Blackpool in a couple of weeks to start a new job, girlfriend is from the north-west (Wigan) so I've applying for jobs in the area for a while now and finally got one.

Never realised so many foxes fans up north, already looking forward to Blackpool away, shame its on a Tuesday. Anyone a regular traveller to games? Looking at Doncaster as my first away trip from Blackpool, be good to have company on trains etc.

Not moved up there yet, was there over the weekend sorting some stuff out but came back Monday. Yeah shame Preston went down, will be good if we went up though. Lots of north west Premier League teams to visit, unless Blackburn, Wigan and Bolton all go down of course
