Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Don't think we will see much attacking from Sheff Utd while they are ahead. Doesn't seem like they want to play football at all.
Austin Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Don't think we will see much attacking from Sheff Utd while they are ahead. They're playing for a draw
Pegosteve Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 They're playing for a draw They need to let us score then!
chesterfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Hobbs miles out of position AGAIN.. It is the lack of confidence, that leads to mistakes, that leads to people saying 'Hobbs again' I haven't seen anyone claim that he's a poor player same happened with Morrison imo - you have to stick with these guys they dont become bad footballers overnight....confidence plays a huge part in their pschy
Joe. Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Come on you bloody bastards, I'm flapping my arse off over here...
hackneyfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 same happened with Morrison imo - you have to stick with these guys they dont become bad footballers overnight....confidence plays a huge part in their pschy Yes we'd have been so much better had we stuck with Morrison & Hobbs rather than Davies and Vitor.
ScouseFox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Gally nearly finds the bottom corner again, more corners, still no goals...
Pegosteve Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 What is concerning is we are not creating chances.
STUHILL Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Yep, thats the loyality of our fans. Last Year Fryatt was a god, now he's a nobody Well I'm not saying that. But when he has been given his chances this year, he has failed to play well enough to warrant playing at again. He needs to battle harder. Of course we want our strikers to be scoring but if they aren't, then at the very least we want them to show real heart and effort and run their socks off. I don't see this with Fryatt and I think 90% of our fans would agree so far this season. There is no doubt he is a good finisher but if he wants to get back in our 11, which has been doing well of late, he needs to really up his work rate and passion..... and score goals would always help too!!
hackneyfox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Not sounding too good, but they scored 2 in 10 minutes.
nothin2seehere Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Sky Sports " Leicester just had their first chance of the second half in the 67th minute". Blimey.
FoxyPV Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 If we score from a corner at some time this season I'll be happy.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 just score city please!! it's not that difficult just kick it really hard at one of the four corners of the goal!
Onions Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 There is no doubt he is a good finisher but if he wants to get back in our 11, which has been doing well of late, he needs to really up his work rate and passion..... and score goals would always help too!! Agree 100%, However its that age old dilemma. He can't prove his worth without being played, and he won't be played until he proves his worth. It was like Joe Hart at the world cup, people were saying you can't play him because he don't have World Cup experience, but he won't get that unless you play him

He's obviously not producing the goods in training. We are crying out for someone to put the ball in the net, if he was sharp in training then he should be starting. Here he comes and here is his chance, sounds like he is coming on.

Sven is top manager. Good call
ScouseFox Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Onions gets his wish, hope he's right about Fryatt, need a goal from him, or anyone in fact.
Lillehamring Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 I was reading this thread, thanks. Was it frustration, or was it useless moaning? If you think that because we've had 72% of possession in just 9 minutes we're probably set for a thrashing, you're mistaken. well, positive fans would see this as as good an opportunity to do so as we are likely to have, maybe you didn't sense the expectancy and potential in the way we had come out, maybe just the fact that a whooping is long overdue Why should this give reason to be more shocked than usual at conceding? That's just football. The other team of 11 men went to the other side of the field and scored two goals. No reason why we should be shocked, and i think generally the response was more a case of 'oh not again' rather than 'what a bizarre and implausible occurrence.' the fact that they have barely scored all season and hardly sounded like they were going to get a shot, let alone a goal, justifies a certain amount of surprise How that's an implosion at all, I do not know. Other teams are allowed to score goals, and they often will through their own skill, which will seem somewhat surprising to the masses. given our possession, to go from comfortably leading, to conceding 2 goals from 2 shots, is a pretty significant change in form - of course they are capable of scoring, but hardly prolific this season Nobody is suggesting that we'll concede a barrow load of goals, no. They might as well be, though. I'd say that people were indeed panicing. "At 2-1, we're heading towards a 10-2 loss." 10 goals, i would class as a barrowload I expect a rational response. well, i fail to see any that were 'irrational' - unless being disappointed at conceding a goal is irrational Rather, I would hope to get one. I never for a second expected it from our fans. They have scored two goals. That's just the way it is. No need to sulk about it, or put blame on the manager for not starting certain players - Just pick yourselves up, for fvck sake. There is as much chance that we will go and score two, maybe even three. Football is largely a game of statistics. Pundits refer to it as 'possession football.' 'posts like yours are the laughable ones.' Ouch. Bitch.
