I don't think he's Premiership class, but whilst we are in this league he is the best goalscorer we have, that is statistical fact. If he was up front with a strike partner he would be scoring again I'm sure of it, but some people will always dislike him for some reason :dunno:

Most people on here don`t see eye to eye about fryatt! I rate him, don`t think vassell is gonna turn out to be any good here, well probably end up selling and My hope is that you guy`s regrett slating him so often in the past! good luck to him whatever he decides to do.

somewhere in the middle. unfortunately a lot of fans are suffering from delusions of grandeur and there's no time to wait for players to regain form. either you're firing on all cylinders or you're out the door. we're rich now and have thus earned the right to be in the premier league...

I hope he doesn't go as he's been our most prolific striker over the past two seasons and is still up there despite playing a fraction of the games.

think he done all he can for us and now should look to move on, no doubt what he has done for the club, but we looking to a new future, and hes not looked interested in the games he has played, sell him and fund another striker

Bullshit. No other word for anyone that says this.

No doubt any professional footballer is privelaged but make no mistake, they all want to play week in week out. Disillusioned at a club is another matter but soon as any player walks on to the turf they give their all. I've played football for 12 years and i've been left out of squads and teams and it does nothing more than galvanise you. Noone wants to be proven to be a rubbish player, paid or not. Even the tossers of the game still give their all on the pitch, even if that does mean they think they are gods gift off of it.

I have to disagree there, some footballers are lazy, they're human after all.

Fryatt plays well when HE is happy

He has, for much of his career, look disinterested.

Just how many times did he touch the ball the other night?

I think Fryatt is a great finisher at times, but I don't see him as a team player, I think his general attitude is poor.

He was meant to be an England player by this stage** in his career, he's managed, at best, to show that he can be a good championship player on his day.

** When we first signed him he had been highly rated at a younger level for England and was expected out of all of them to play for England.

I've always been a fan of Fryatt because some of his finishing is as good as anyone in this league. But, and this is a big butt, he is lacking in consistency.

After the relegation season, his great season in league 1 and the start he made to last season showed signs of someone who was a great assett, but after that injury he never picked back up and for me it's a massive shame, if he hadn't been injured, he was well on target for more than 20 goals and who knows, had it gone that way and had we not gone through such drastic changes since that day I cardiff, maybe he'd be the spearhead of a promotion push this season.

At the end of the day though, he hasn't been consistent enough and although I do like him, I could understan him being shipped out and us getting someone who has a better record.
