Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Huddersfield have equalised, thoroughly deserved by the sound of it. Hope they get the draw that they at least deserve.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 You just know he is going to end up getting the winner though
Fosse Boy Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 If it's a penalty he has to be sent off surely?
ScouseFox Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 If it's a penalty he has to be sent off surely? After Hobbs' against Man City, it seems the rulebook is thrown out the window when it comes to the FA Cup.
Dylan Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Thought it was disgusting from Fabregas; running up to the referee and insisting he should send the man off. Let the ref do his job, think there should be a rule made that players should get cautioned for doing that.
MikeyT Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Huddersfield have played with real heart, passion and gone for it. Fair play to them. Don't deserve to lose.

But referees don't seem to want to hand the punishment out for it
Mee Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 I thought the handball by Gibbs a few minutes later was more of a penalty.
MikeyT Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 I thought the handball by Gibbs a few minutes later was more of a penalty. Agreed.

Corky Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Huddersfield have played really well, Arsenal were struggling for about 20 minutes in the second half.
Fosse Boy Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 After Hobbs' against Man City, it seems the rulebook is thrown out the window when it comes to the FA Cup. It just seems to me that in a wishy washy decision where the ref's half and half that they think not sending the player off is some form of compensation to the offending team if he's got it wrong. It doesn not work like that. If a penalty is given in those situation it entails that you must send the player off. See this crap all the time, especially with fouls committed by goalkeepers.
