Into the Lion's Den - Match Thread

What makes you so certain of that that, we are still perilously close to the drop zone with most teams around us having a game in hand? The team we have is poor, some of us perhaps need to wake up to that.

Because i think we're too good for relegation. We need consistency, as soon as Sven can get a coherent team together i think we'll be pushing the top 6 - nothing wrong with a bit of optimism?

Neither bednar or Howard should be on the pitch. What has vassel done wrong, hate the obsession with ineffective big men. Don't even get me started on Oakley over abe against such a physical side

howard s not on the pitch

We would have been well adjusted to Sousa's style. We would be more attacking. We would be putting chances away. We wouldn't be as knackered during this period due to the passing style. We would have loan signings who don't give a **** about the club and aren't any improvement on what we already had (Bednar, Cunningham).

I like Sven, don't get me wrong, he will do a top job if he's still here next season, but bringing in this loanees is short sighted and a bit of a gamble. We would have been more solid, consistent and would have grown under Sousa.

Well, all of that is based on your assumption, so not really valid. :dunno:

I like Naughton a lot - hope we sign him.

I also said that the doncaster game defense was bad. We've not had a settled defence though have we. Every game it changes due to injury or something.

Howard is a bit past it but good for a few minutes and he can head balls on.

Basically Sven has doena good job and is trying to find out who to keep and what works. This was always going to be a diificult takeover. sousa basically killed us - we were bottom when we evetually got rid of the dreamer.

WTF are you on about - Sven has brought in loanees because the transfer window wasn't open when he arrived - he had no choice...

6 shots 1 on target compared to 3 shots and 2 goals.

We've had no problems creating chances but lots putting them away all season.

Come on Leicester

3 points away from home

Goal from a corner

A clean sheet

That's all I ask!tongue.png

True. and you can only loan what other teams will let you have.

Need changes. Bednar off, Vassell on, maybe sacrifice a central midfielder and go 442 with Waggy/Howard up top aswell. Nothing to lose from here.
