detari74 Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Just if not been posted already - a reserve team played Wolves today and lost one nil. Just seen a report on the Wolves site by chance. Not sure of the team but it seemed to be a mix of youth and experience. http://www.wolves.co.uk/page/DevelopmentReportDetail/0,,10307~2264127,00.html
Dylan Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Moussa, Schlupp, Waghorn, Logan and Neilson played it says.
Jackirius Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Also Ben Milne, it was meant to be a bit hush hush i think so they haven't revealed the team sheets. Maybe a few trialists?
Stevosevic Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Waghorn must be thinking about leaving, can't see him getting a chance with current formation. 442 however, should see him get a few starts as 3rd choice striker.
harpendenfox Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 I was hoping the Tunch might have made an appearance....
ACF Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 City: Logan, O'Neill, Parkes, Neilson, Mee, Milnes, Moussa, Norburn, Waghorn, Schlupp, Crncic. Subs: Chamberlain (for Crncic), John (for Norburn). Source.
Toby or not Toby Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 No Moreno or Lamey Lamey leaving maybe and Moreno being thought of for 1st team as hes been on the bench last couple of games?
davieG Posted 12 January 2011 Posted 12 January 2011 Now on the OS - http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2264603,00.html?
Bob Farley Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Feel a bit sorry for Waghorn regular seat on the bench at sunderland, now playing for championship reserves. ouch. Deserves more of a run in my opinion but im not sven.

But when he has been brought on, he's not shown the commitment & guile that he showed last season. The supporters were calling his name last season, but no so now, as he just isn't the same player. I'm sorry to say imo he will not prove to have been a good signing & I would think Steve Bruce was well pleased with the wonga he got for him!

Couldn't get into the game, didn't seem to know how to use his speed and commitment to close down the opposition and make himself available for passes. Looked completely out of sorts. I think if he were given a little run it would all come back though, and he'd still be a good squad member.
muzzy1981 Posted 13 January 2011 Posted 13 January 2011 Feel a bit sorry for Waghorn The only time I feel sorry for him is when Howard comes on instead of him. I know they're a different type of player but he has the ability to make a much greater impact whether it be going forward or just putting himself about. He has to understand though that we have two experienced internationals avaialble now so will have to bide his time. He is a quality player to have on the Bench, if Vassel or the Yak gets injured he should go straight.
