FuriousFox46 Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 The teams that drop down may be brilliant though. In my opinion, this is the biggest problem for next season should we not get promoted. We're looking at the likes of West Brom, West Ham, Wolves, Aston Villa, Fulham possibly Liverpool at a stretch. All teams capable of beating us.
accessory Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 if we go up we'll be midtable at best for the next 5-10 years at least, ticket prices will shoot up and - ask yourself, would you pay extortionate prices for mediocrity? If so then you are insane. Like we haven't seen enough mediocrity in the last 7 years. I'd rather watch world-class players in a full stadium every week than see us struggle against some no-hope cloggers from Hartlepool or Stockport..

I would rather watch the rooneys, gerrards, lampards of the world then the players we see every week atm. No one can have an argument about ticket prices, if that were the case why dont we get relegated and the price will be even cheaper
Fox1651 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 If we make the play offs this season i will be over the moon but very surprised, next season is more likely for a proper promotion push as hopefully we wont lose the first batch of games like Sousa did
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Forget ticket prices, we want to become an established prem club and try to get as far in the cup competitions as possible.
Kitchandro Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Exactly! I would rather watch the rooneys, gerrards, lampards of the world then the players we see every week atm. No one can have an argument about ticket prices, if that were the case why dont we get relegated and the price will be even cheaper Frankly, I couldn't give a toss who's playing for the opposition, I just want our boys to humiliate them! I see these overpaid primadonnas on TV almost every day, Leicester winning a trophy on the other hand, that's something i don't see very often!
The Doctor Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Then why do you follow Leicester? After all you're almost admitting the entire league process is pointless. It's obvious what we have to do. Win the league. Win the cup. almost, div 1 is pointless, so predictable, just a cheque-book led procession really. Div 2 however is very fooking exciting because of it's unpredictability. As for following city - i don't know. You go to one match and you're hooked. You can't stop going, even if it defies all logic.
accessory Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Frankly, I couldn't give a toss who's playing for the opposition, I just want our boys to humiliate them! This is Leicester we're talking about, not Barcelona. We rarely humiliated sides even during the season in League 1. I see these overpaid primadonnas on TV almost every day, Leicester winning a trophy on the other hand, that's something i don't see very often! Well it's happened twice in the past fifteen years. That's twice more than at Man City, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham, Sunderland, Forest etc etc Once we're promoted, we'll be in a position to challenge again.
Bob Farley Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Football's shit. Yeah, theres bigger things in life to worry about.
stever Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 I don't care if we play Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelski etc or Hereford, Cheltenham or Oxford. All I want to see is my team out there playing football. Don't get me wrong beign in the prem would be amazing but I wouldn't care if we were in League 2 or below. The point is Leicester is our team. The biggest thrill I get from seeing them play is knowing that my team is out playing football and competing in the best footballing nation in the world.
