great player

Really? Somehow I really doubt that, especially since he went on to play and indeed win a few titles with MON at Celtic before he came back here.

I find it very hard to believe he would now be working at Asda.

Believe. I wouldnt have either but now its mentioned I'm sure I spotted him at an ASDA recently, said it to my good lady at the time, but the words Steve Guppy mean nothing in her world. funny how it comes up on here soon after.

He's pushing trolleys.

It's well documented and known that he's the assistant coach at Colorado Rapids and he doesn't even live in England so he can't be working at ASDA!! Surely!?

No, how bad is it Gok?

:P

It's just weird cos he always seemed really thin and then I saw him playing for Wolves in that Masters football and he was barely recogniseable. The ravages of time and all that....

Brian (Judas) Little - lest we forget, had one good season at Villa = now pushes trolleys at ASDA.

Mark (Sleeping Giants) McGhee - Got the bullet from Wolves, did ok in Scotland but that doesn't count as its not real football = part time trolley pusher at ASDA.

Mickey (cant take constructive criticism) Adams - good manager gone bad = has the switch shift opposite to McGhee pushing trolleys at ASDA.

can I also add:

Nigel (play the leaving/staying, need to feel wanted/tendering my resignation) Pearson - Who in there right mind would want to go to Hull, HULL for fecks sake... Its a hole, it makes Cov look modern and Jimmy Bullards got stupid hair and a funny face... (note Ash gone to the tractors) = suck it up sweetheart or you'll also be pushing trolleys at a well know supermarket.

Actually I hate anyone who's left Leicester, I'm a bitter, bitter man so you can also add into that:

Hill

Fitzpatrick

Carey

Jnr Lewis

Blake

N Lewis

Kalac

James

Akinbyi

Etc etc etc..... All of which now have some sort of trolley movement based job at ASDA.

also:

Robbie (the human orifice) Savage - now works on the radio because having to look at his gurning mug makes the nation puke, note to Sav don't sit there moaning about being hated in Leicester if you insist on kissing your new clubs badge on your first game back = got the sack from trolley pushing at ASDA as he slipped over a wonkey wheel, rolled round the floor when the manager game over Sav jumped to his feet and simulated the manager giving the trolley a red card even though the trolley was a former team mate and friend.

Kalac played for AC MIlan for 5 years! Hardly a fall from grace!

Tony Spearing

However sidenote: Some former Leicester players start playing like world beaters (lol) at other clubs eg DJ Campbell (ripping up trees at Blackpool), Chris O'Grady ripping up trees at errrm Rochdale), and then of course there is Joe Mattock (or should that be Mattlock lol) who is clearly ripping up trees at errrm the reserves at WBA or on loan at Sheff Utd or whatever!!!!!
