So last season we got into the play off semi's...and set ourselves REALLY high standards for this season. Last seasons team worked under NP because he'd built it, and somehow got the best out of us. In this league though, who's to say its anybodys devine right to be anywhere? After the start we've had we should be boucing off the ceiling for how much fo a turn around we've had, and even if we don't go up, look at the season we've had;

New Owners, ex-England manager is our manager, The Yak, Sol Bamba, the progression of Andy King, being linked with Beckham, Owen, Santa Cruz - no matter HOW bizarre and farfetched these are; this is what makes being a Leicester fan.

Yes, we're not "promoted" yet but, if we allow ourselves to be optimistic, and dream a little - just imagine how amazing it would be to go up in 2nd...and Forest losing in the play-off final :P

agree with the first bit. The majority of fans will admit we over achieved big time last season. This time round it is a bit different in that we do have some premiership quality players. Albeit they're all on loan, which to me will be very worrying if we don't go up this season.

Sorry for having an opinion. We've only clawed oursleves back to where we shouldv'e been anyway. Yes that is a huge achievement for Sven, but it shouldn't have been necessary

It shouldn't have been necessary, but that doesn't make it less of an achievement does it?

Some fair points but for godsake can't some people just enjoy winning some games ?

2nd half against Derby was a great defensive perfomance. We dug in and got the result and that's what matters surely ? Do you honestly expect us to go away from home and dominate teams for 90 mins ? Not gonna happen. Also think its unfair to single out Oakley and Ricardo from last night. Bar Bamba, Mee (apart from his distribution) and Naughton the rest of the team were crap, as was Dyer when he came on.

JUST BE HAPPY, we're winning and moving up the league !! :scarf:

Surely though if Direby really are as bad as some on here say, then yes we should dominate them for 90 mins.

There were times last saturday that I genuinely thought we were going to chuck the game away

Depends what you mean. Enjoy the p*ssups, and sometimes the football. I don't know how anyone can enjoy it right now. Talk about being put through the wringer every game

You must be winding us up surely?

How is it an achievement just for Sven?!!?!? Go support Man Utd.

Were we as a club ever going to go down again this season despite us being bottom under Sousa? No.

Sven had to come in and prove himself- with huge financial backing admittedly.

And aren't you the kid who posted on here earlier that it was your first ever live game last night or am I mistaking you for someone else?

If you think the current games under Sven are being put through the wringer you obviously didn't see us under Bassett, Levein, Kelly, Allen, Megson, Holloway and Sousa to name just a few more recent ones I could of course added McLintock, Pleat and Taylor.

I nearly have heart attacks every game. Whats to enjoy about that? Ive seen it too many times before. I only ever feel happy supporting Leicester whilst the game is in progress if we are 4-0 up with 10 minutes to go.

Either you're a very funny wind up merchant, or you are COMPLETELY missing the point of watching exciting football matches.

Point taken, though no I didn't see us under the latter three. Of course I was there when we went down at Stoke, managed (just) to stay up at Barnsely the season before etc, but I dunno, for some reason there seems to be more riding on it this and last season

I should stop watching football altogether before you have heart attack because no team can guarantee you that.

Just as an aside I'd guess that the vast majority having heart attacks at football do so when their team scores or wins so if you're prone to one you'd definitely better stop going because either way you're likely to have one.tongue.png

I don't want to go to see us nearly win and think 'well that was exciting'

If I want exciting I'll go to Soho with a blindfold. Its much much more about something being 'exciting'

All teams will have their period in the game no matter how bad they are.

That's probably because, in spite of what you're saying you have some latent feelings of optimism, under those previous managers you got to a stage of never expecting to win and if you did it was a welcome surprise. Now under Sven there is an expectation of winning and if we're looking a bit suspect it gives you this feeling of woe.

Partly perhaps. I did have a tongue in cheek bet with my derby mate that we'd go up via the playoffs last season (this was after beating swansea on the opening day of the season!) so I do have some optism somewhere.

I think you're right on the last bit. Leicester could be top of the league with only two games to go, but what with Leicester being Leicester I'd still expect them to somehow bugger it up and finish outside the top 6!

Fait is fait...

Fasten ya seatbelts and enjoy the bumby ride!

Moaners if we're bottom and moaners if we're unbeaten and on a great run! win the league and there will still probably

be moaners that we didnt get that 1 extra point! The only thing we can help with, is being the 12th man!

CMON YOUUU BLUESSS!!

Last night wasn't a great game.

However, we got plenty of enjoyment from our attacking play vs Millwall, our total dominance in the first half at Derby.

We will be put through the emotions in games, we aren't going to win every match 4-0, but what pleases me now was that last night wasn't a typical performance. Recently we've been fluent, composed, confident, looking so dangerous going forward.

I'm enjoying it because we are winning games, some fortunately, some very well indeed.

Yeah, we didn't get hammered by any of them so you were wrong.
