darko2k7 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The Foxes return to the Walkers Stadium this weekend, after their 2-0 defeat at Cardiff City on Tuesday evening. The loss at the Cardiff City Stadium ended the five match winning run and also ended City's unbeaten league campaign in 2011. Patrick Van Aanholt had the perfect opportunity to put the Foxes ahead in the game, but he fired his shot straight at Bluebirds' goalkeeper Tom Heaton from close range. The home side capitalised on the missed chance and took the lead moments later. Seyi Olofinjana cut the ball back to the dangerous Michael Chopra inside the box, before he slotted the ball past Ricardo to open the scoring. City continued to press but could not find the leveler. Andy King and Yakubu both went agonizingly close without reward just before half-time. The visitors picked up where they left off at the beginning of the second half, Richie Wellens went close when he forced Heaton into a finger tip save before the Bluebirds delivered the hammer blow. The second goal of the evening was scored in a similar fashion to the first, but this time by on-loan Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey. Kevin McNaughton picked up the ball on the wing before picking Ramsey out in the City box. Ramsey slotted a cool finish home past Ricardo to put the home side firmly in the driving seat. Sven-Goran Eriksson will be looking for his team to put the loss behind them and focus on taking three points local rivals Coventry City this Saturday. After showing much promise in the early part of the season, the Sky Blues have fallen away from the promotion shake-up somewhat since the turn of the year. At the time of Sven's appointment to the Foxes hot seat, Coventry sat in seventh place and nine points above City. A monumental decline in form for Saturday's visitors now sees City sit in seventh and a sizeable 12 points ahead of the Sky Blues. Their latest defeat came at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday evening, against Welsh opponents Swansea City. In a game that Coventry dominated for large parts, it was the visitors who grabbed three points with a 1-0 victory. Swans striker Stephen Dobbie was on hand to loop the ball over Keiren Westwood from close range to score the winning goal. Aidy Boothroyd's side face a tough battle at the Walkers Stadium. He will be looking for his side to put a stop to their alarming slide down the table on Saturday and prevent them being involved in a relegation battle. darko2k7 Posted 26 February 2011 Author Posted 26 February 2011 If we can put these to the sword today say 4/5-0 and if Swansea keep peppering the leeds goal like they are atm and it ends up a big score too, then that goal difference will be looking alot better

davieG Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Be interesting to who and how well they fill the LCB role in place of Mee.

darko2k7 Posted 26 February 2011 Author Posted 26 February 2011 Starting 11 from Radio Leicester is: Ricardo Naughton Bamba Bruma Van Aahnolt Abe Wellens King Vassell Yakubu Gallagher Subs: Weale, Waghorn, Vitor, Dyer, Oakley, Mee, Moreno (missed the bench 100%) Other than Ricardo i'm happy with this, have been thinking about playing Bamba and Bruma this week think it could be good only point of worry is that they both like to come forward with the ball so is a very attacking defence today
MikeyT Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 No Howard or Schlupp, gone for Moreno instead on the bench. Shame, I was looking forward to seeing a bit of Schlupp He's injured. Has been for a few weeks.

Drift Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Looking forward to this game, and Leeds 3 down When we win 8-0 we'll go 6th!
MikeyT Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Lots of money on Yak scoring a Hat-trick today. Please!!!
Jackirius Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 We wont lose to them today, either a boring 1-1/0-0 or we will dick all over them and get 4 or so.
Jordan Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 If Leicester win by 8, they'll jump into 6th place. I wouldn't put that past them today.
MikeyT Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 If Leicester win by 8, they'll jump into 6th place. I wouldn't put that past them today. I am confident...but 8?
Libertine Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Maybe Bruma is in as Mee could be a bit lightweight against their big strikers. Glad Yuki is back in anyway.
Jordan Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I am confident...but 8? I was being silly... but hey, I wouldn't mind that!
