Rock is hosting. The matches aren't too appealing, but ah well. if you don't find taker v hhh appealing then not many matches would be
Guest NGoloMode Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 I havent watched wrestling in about 5 years but with The Rock hosting it I'll be watching a dodgy stream till i fall asleep. Im hoping Undertaker keeps his record but other than that I dont really know what else is happening.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 49 even tho its wrestlemania 27(XXVII) so the thread starter got his roman numerals wrong

Libertine Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 i will be watching, just not live, ordered it but can't watch till tomorrow evening (damn early sixth form starts) if you don't find taker v hhh appealing then not many matches would be Taker can barely move these days, he's just patched up enough to make his annual WM win. His matches with Michaels the last two years were great I agree, but I don't see the same happening with HHH really. I assume HBK will get involved somehow, think he's been floating around again recently.
StanSP Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 Is there any way that Cena and The Miz can both lose please? Oh and Undertaker to win his match
Joeb.lcfc Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 Match 1: World Heavyweight Title Match Alberto Del Rio with Brodus Clay vs. Edge with Christian EDGE Retains with the Spear!!!!
boosmanana Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wm271#utm_campaigne=synclickback&source=http://team313.com/channels/3.php&medium=7827586 Decent stream for anyone wanting to watch it
ajthefox Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 49 even tho its wrestlemania 27(XXVII) so the thread starter got his roman numerals wrong I think it's safe to say the title is a bit of a piss take. At least I hope so, because you definitely wouldn't write 49 like that intentionally.
Dames Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Undertaker Vs HHH stole the show. Reminded me of the attitude era where matches were not decided by the first person to get off a 'special move' but instead they were decided by the desire and effort to win. (I know its fake but still..) For me though the ending of that match shows that Taker just hasn't got it in him anymore to punish his body like that.
Haydos Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 What did the Rock get up to. Watched for a couple of hours but was knackered by then.
Libertine Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Cena v Miz ended in a double count out. Rock comes out and restarts it with no DQ etc. Rock bottoms Cena, Miz wins. Lame ending (and all round show bar Taker v HHH) really. Looks like he'll be sticking around for a while though so I guess a rivalry with Cena is on the cards.
StanSP Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 Ah I'd love to see The Rock beat Cena countless times. I was watching Wrestlemania from years ago, think 2002, where Rock beat Hogan, but then they teamed up against NWO with Kane and ended up beating them Taker vs HHH was pretty special though. I love the No Holds Barred fights.

Every year with Taker you fall into the trap of thinking 'Ohmygawd he's actually going to lose!' even though you know he won't (and least of all to HHH, if anyone it'd be a youngun to 'pass the torch' or some shit), but especially this year when HHH hit the Tombstone on him, thought he was done.

HHH couldn't believe it either. You know when HHH was asking and shouting at Taker 'what is wrong with you?' did he mean it by wondering if he's okay or because he wouldn't get up and fight back? I couldn't tell because at the end, HHH seemed to be quite worried when Taker was virtually dying.

Heard a rumour that HHH had Taker down too low when he Tombstoned him and hurt Taker's neck, and that originally HHH was going to grab the sledgehammer whilst in the Hell's Gate hold and get out of it, but Taker couldn't go on so they had to end it there.
