davieG Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 If, as expected, Peter Canero is catapulted out of the club shortly . . . Lee Morris will be the clubs longest serving player that didn't come through the youth team! With a grand total of 2 starts. A transfer policy that has seen nobody survive for 18 months at the club explains a lot. Jordan Stewart is by miles our longest serving player - maybe he'll be made club captain next year? That is a frightening situation Curtesy of BrownNose Fox Fanzine Website
BartonFox Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 Nothing like a bit of youth development and stability at a Club. And people still stick up for the previous Club policy and it's employees during that time <_<
Syko Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 Oh dear whatever next! We need some stability then maybe back to the good times!

Jimmy Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 thanks, he needs to start getting regular run outs as he impressed while on loan at notts county, lets see if he is actually any good
Mark Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 thanks, he needs to start getting regular run outs as he impressed while on loan at notts county, lets see if he is actually any good 119879 He didn't impress exactly, he scored a few for their reserves but struggled in the first team, and in the end they didn't fancy renewing the loan contract <_< He returned to form towards the end of last season for our reserves though, looked better than both Wright and Moore in the games i saw at Hinckley.
Simon Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 Thats really scary, nice to see Levein's putting things right though...
Anish Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 That's incredible...in a very bad way. We need a lot more stability and I am sure Levein is the man to do this.
Louise Posted 6 June 2005 Posted 6 June 2005 I edited my post to add Stearman as I somehow forgot about him
supedaj Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 MA had a lot to contribute to that - people on 1 year contracts may have been good for short term but doesnt help in long term direction. Nice to see CL moving away from this

Nice to see CL moving away from this 120136 And then you still get people criticising Levein for adopting this long-term policy... It's just what we need.

Talk about A new broom sweeps clean Mr Levein
Hitesh Posted 9 July 2005 Posted 9 July 2005 I blame Micky Adams and Peter Tauylor. MA had the idea of signing the rejected and make up a whole new squad every year. Ok, the administration didnt help and the debt meant that he couldnt develop a squad. And the debt was caused by Peter Taylor and the BOD's. As a result it has left us with no option to "make do" with whatever we can get attitude and therefore there hasnt been the stability. However, IMO, this should change over the next few seasons under CL.
