Matt Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 The internet is abuzz about a new wonder-kid footballing talent in Japan – the trouble is nobody knows who he is!A video of a “nine-year-old Japanese Messi” has gone viral, as people around the world are dazzled by this new talent who seems to be able to just skip around players with ease. However as yet no details have emerged about who the young chap is or what team he plays for. Watching the video though, you can see why the player is being compared to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi as he shows amazing close control to dribble past opponents in a similar fashion to the pint-sized Argentine. He has already attracted the attention of Messi's former coach at the Barcelona youth team - Francisco Javier García Pimienta – who posted a link to the video on his Twitter feed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gDuRHEY6Xs Who is this nine-year-old 'Japanese Messi?'
moseeds Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 i don't think he made a single pass in any of those games selfish git!
Brown Fox Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 That's quality! Genuinelly felt sorry for the kids trying to tackle him. Know what I'd have done to him anyway, clip his heels or just dive in. That'd show him
Bugg Posted 4 April 2011 Posted 4 April 2011 He won't make it, neither will most of these internet sensations. They're too greedy to turn professorial football.
Finnegan Posted 5 April 2011 Posted 5 April 2011 He won't make it, neither will most of these internet sensations. They're too greedy to turn professorial football. ... he's a baby. I'm sure they've plenty of time to work that out of him. That said, your cynicism is fair. Anything could happen to him between now and ten years time.
Ozwin Posted 5 April 2011 Posted 5 April 2011 I remember when we used to play as kids, the teacher always told us not to all go chasing after the ball runner. Looks like they do what they like in Japan haha.
