Mark Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 Ok. I'm looking for some of you talented people out there to design banners and wallpapers for Foxestalk. You have a week to produce the best designs/artwork you can. Then I'll judge and the best ones will be used on the site in time for the new season. Try and stay within the colour schemes of the site and the banners can be the same size as the current one, but the maximum size is 760 by 104px. GOOD LUCK SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO A few pictures to get you started, if you have any better ones feel free to use them Williams Maybury McCarthy Joey Hughes Levein Connolly
Knighton Matt Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 sadly my computing skills are poor to say the least. my contribution however is this... on the gareth williams pic just imagine williams was the size of dickov and thus the tacklers boots were at groinal height...what a world of pain he would be in!!!! best of luck everyone!
Craig Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 Ok, here's my work in progress. Petrescu probably won't want to use it cos it just looks tacky whenever i put any other picture on apart from Paddy. Any ideas as to how i can make it better? The more i look at it, the more i dislike it

Keep it up man I really like the lettering.
City Fan Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 I will have a go after my exam on Friday. I know mine wont be good enough to be on here, but it is good practise never the less......
Ricey Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 Here is a couple of variations of a similar design. Possibly more entries to come...
Mark Posted 8 June 2005 Author Posted 8 June 2005 It doesn't have to say Leicester City Messageboard by the way. The only text that must be shown is FOXESTALK. First one is decent Ricey not sure about the second ones text.

Cat Burger Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 I agree Ricey, I'm just not keen on the picture of Paddy he looks gormless, but he HAS to be on there!! good work for the top one especially.
Ricey Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 Here's my effort 120992 I like that a lot Anish Where did you get those pictures from?
Anish Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 The Paddy McCarthy one I got off the OS today I can't remember when/where I got the other 2 from, I download loads of pics all the time and keep them on my hard disk, and use them whenever I need to.
City Fan Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 Like Ricey's first one but not sure on the text of the second. Anish's is really good - like the image of the messageboard - it integrates well!
Little Nicky Posted 8 June 2005 Posted 8 June 2005 Top work from Ricey, but Anish's effort blew me away, love it!
City Fan Posted 9 June 2005 Posted 9 June 2005 I think it would be good with half of Riceys and half of Anish's. You should chop Paddy McCarthy out of Riceys, so you have Dion's picture and Hughes' picture, and then have Anish's from Connolly to the end. (If that makes any sense)
Benji Posted 9 June 2005 Posted 9 June 2005 both anishs' and riceys first are top class love the colour scheme of the text in riceys especially and anishs' is just a complete graphic, nothing faultable, eye pleasing and smooth in the change from backgrounds
Ricey Posted 9 June 2005 Posted 9 June 2005 Two more similar designs, the first including a screenshot of the forum as that seems to have been popular so far.
Muz Posted 9 June 2005 Posted 9 June 2005 Anish's is brillaint. But the top one there Ricey is immense
Mark Posted 9 June 2005 Author Posted 9 June 2005 121514 I prefer this actually. Best yet. Can blend in with the background instead of just ending like the current one does..
