Ambitious Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Its not like we actually have SERIOUS amounts of money to chuck everywhere, we'll never be a force again. (not that we ever really have been) But I love this club and want to see us do well however, but your cry for all sorts of players who probably wouldn't want to come here in the 1st place is ridiculous! Why wouldn't they want to? we have ambitious owners, a highly respected manager accross the footballing world, a beautiful stadium, top training facilities, can guarantee them first team football, which five them arn't getting at the Club's their contracted to, ones out on loan and he isn't getting first team football ffs, one promotion away from the best league in the world so why if given the chance would they turn us down?

Because currently we are shit
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Hey Sven! why don't you try and buy this guy Rafa Alcantara! He'll get us up! You see this post makes me think you're taking the piss

See Kitchandro's reply Above "Because currently we are shit". You can't argue with that.
Ambitious Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Because currently we are shit Beggars can't be choosers, Forster wants first team football, Camporese wants first team football, Kurzawa wants first team football, Bradley wants first team football, Tello wants first team football, Adu wants first team football

Check the division we're playing in. It's not like we're fighting for Europe is it? The players we got this season (Yak, Naughton, Kamara etc) were players who weren't playing regularly for their first team or not good enough for the first team at the time.

MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Well yea, look Prussian we all know if any fan was given the Club, that I would be more successful than ANY of you. Are you a bit coco for cocopops or am I just getting the wrong impression based on this post of yours? Are you a football agent? That's something I was wondering, too. But I doubt a proper agent or scout would waste so much time posting useless information on players no one has heard of before on here.
StanSP Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Also, making wholesale changes to a squad is never good and never will be good for any team. Signing at least 11 players would be nonsensical. Sven knows this. We should sign a max of 5 players. 1 of those being Naughton. Another being a goal-keeper (Given would be immense; ten times better than Weale/Ricardo put together). The 3 others, for me, would be a striker, another midfielder and one of Mee/Vitor permanently.
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Are you a football agent? Really think he could be you know. Can't think of any other explanation. Ambitious, how come you know so much about these players anyway (other than Football Manager)
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 I havn't been on football manager for years, that starting 11 I mentioned would get us back up, keep us up and then some, you lot are just typical unambitious, ignorant idiots who seem happy supporting a medioka club for the rest of your lives, but no not me, I want LCFC to go to the top, and the players you lot mention day in day out, will not get us there end of. They would so on FM? Besides, calling people who have found you out "...unambitious (sic!) ignorant idiots who seem to be happy supporting a medioka (sp?) for the rest of our lives" is a) far from the truth, we all want what's best for this club and b) more than just slightly offensive, don't you think? EDIT: You are neither a scout nor an agent. You're a proper WUM.
Ambitious Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Check the division we're playing in. It's not like we're fighting for Europe is it? The players we got this season (Yak, Naughton, Kamara etc) were players who weren't playing regularly for their first team or not good enough for the first team at the time. Adu and Petersen would be easier to sign than Yak and Kamara and their better, Morganella would be easier to sign than Naughton and hes better. Honestly you lot just think I've randomly come out with these names, but I've looked long and hard into it, stayed up all night ffs, havn't slept, and these arn't world beaters at this moment in time, but their players who I feel we have a realistic chance of signing, and will develop a team that will go on to achieve great things. Which is what we all want, cos the squads we've had since the summer of 2000, just havn't ****ing done it.

Take away the loans and our squad has very little depth. We don't have a proper winger and we're very short staffed in midfield and defence. Only Bamba and Tunchev will play a big part next season out of our defenders. Because of the way Sven has gambled this season, we were always going to need to rebuild quite a bit this summer.

Besides the effort you're putting into "finding" these players, it's not really helping, is it? Anyone can browse the web for names for hours and put them in a thread and claim they're better than what we have. But are they really any better? I dread to think what the "Potential Transfer Signings" thread will look like - after this season has concluded - with "experts" like you.

I'm sorry mate but I'm just sick to the stomach, of people coming out with methods that we've done for years and look where we are? middle of the ****ing championship, drop in the ocean
StanSP Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 There's no guarantees that all your amazing wonderkids would perform consistently either. I'd hate for us to spend so much money and have a team of Torres' who take about 10 games to find their feet.

Bugg Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Don't worry ambitous, we all stay up all night playing fm now and again
MC Prussian Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 I'm sorry mate but I'm just sick to the stomach, of people coming out with methods that we've done for years and look where we are? middle of the ****ing championship, drop in the ocean With your vast knowledge, why don't you apply for a job at LCFC and stop posting so much rubbish on here then instead? Kill two birds with one stone and everybody would be happy.
Kitchandro Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Adu and Petersen would be easier to sign than Yak and Kamara and their better, Morganella would be easier to sign than Naughton and hes better. So despite not holding any position at LCFC whatsoever (I assume) you have stayed up all night doing intensive research and obviously (I can tell from your confidence) carrying out precise scientific experiements to compile a list of potential transfer targets that you know will take us and keep us in the Premiership, on the off chance Sven rings you up in the summer and says 'Ambitious - welll, I vont you to become my new chief scout'
Austin Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Next season. Season after. WE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. MASSIVE.

StanSP Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Yes they are, that first 11 would lose no more than 3 games ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT.
artursteppe Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 The game against Watford was the first time in months we've played with 2 up front. Gally has been playing on the wing all season, part of a front 3, not a front 2. It's true we don't win enough tackles in midfield and we are too open when the opposition gets the ball. However you can't say that getting rid of our creative midfield player and the only one of the 3 you mention who does win tackles is the answer. The answer that makes sense is to let King and Wellens, our creative players, play. To do this we need a holding midfielder. Neither Bruma or Abe are attack minded players. We'd struggle with creativity is they were our central midfeild duo. And 'I think Sven knows this, and I think it will happen', is very unjustifiably smug. You know fvck all, Sven knows a little better than that. 'Calm down, calm down', don't be so personnel. Don't get so upset. Where did you get this 'two up front' from. To remind you I said Wellens, King and Gallagher with two strikers ( could be and obviously was in a 4-3-3 formation ) left us weak defensively, and that was the main factor ( outside of goalkeeping ) that has lead us to a less successful finish to the season than we wanted. Am I wrong??? I love this bit 'neither Bruma or Abe are attack minded players'. NB In 45 minutes against a team above us in the table, we conceded nil and scored 3, yes 3!
Brown Fox Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Adu and Petersen would be easier to sign than Yak and Kamara and their better, Morganella would be easier to sign than Naughton and hes better.
