BrummieFOX Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 We got £1.2m for fryatt didn't we and he wasn't in our team. I don't think a million atleast for hobbs is unreasonable. If we are only being offered 400,000 then he should stay. Strikers generally cost more than defenders anyway, so I think the amount difference is justified. Exactly.
Webbo Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Didn't we pay £500k for him? Why would we let him go for less?
davieG Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Didn't we pay £500k for him? Why would we let him go for less? Any figures being banded around are just guess work. OS Leicester City are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Jack Hobbs from Liverpool on a four-year contract. The 20-year-old defender has joined the club for an undisclosed fee after a successful first season on loan with the Foxes.
21st Century Fox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 He's a good defender but not the greatest passer and we need both for Sven's set up. It'll be sad to see him go but he's much better suited to Pearson's longer ball type of play.
dannythefox Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 400k for jack hobbs he should go for double that hes not worth selling if thats right.
