Leicester_Loyal Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Getting the King Power name out there, in relation to using LCFC, will boost shirt sales etc. in Thailand and other countries.
renards Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Bigger picture with King Power Seems they are getting a ligitamate foot hold in te UK, its not about what they have here now
Madrid_Fox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 In order to boost shirt sales, you need to boost the image of the club in Thailand and the King Power name alone will not do that. My suggestion. Buy the best player Thailand has to offer (which will be pretty crap). Look at what happened to shirt sales for Manchester United in South Korea after they signed Ji Sun Park.
21st Century Fox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 King Power would mainly be used by people travelling too and from Thailand. So getting the name out there is pretty important. We don't know what plans they have to expand outside of Asia also.
docho66 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 calm down people! wow - just because there was another thread! wwaaahhh waaahhhh waaahhh, just get on with it! I think Walkers have extended their contract until 2015!
broughtonblue Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=70292&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 Didn't look very hard, it's all a bit rich after making someone new to here look a cnut yesterday larry! People on here need to stop taking everything so seriously! Ha ha, totally agree
lcfcadam Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Ha ha, totally agree I love the fact that the stupid petty argument was done, over with, and you still felt the need to post that. The fact that Foxestalk is supposedly one of the generally more insightful and informed football boards makes me deeply worried about the rest...

Larry_LCFC Posted 19 May 2011 Author Posted 19 May 2011 OFF topic a little but I LIKE THE IDEEA of... The Singha Stadium. I know it won't happen but the sibilance of the s sounds pretty fooking gr8. SINGHA BEER STADIUM makes us lot sound like drunks haha We cant afford to be drunk with the amount they charge for a beer at that place If KingPower did want to change it though .... wouldnt mind being called THE KP Stadium. Then again wonder how many chants about us being nuts we'd get from the away fans.
docho66 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I know this post doesn't fall under the stadium name change but it is still very interesting! =D There were the rumours about the expansion and large retail park (with a large King Power Store to be located on site) and then the large expansion of the ground up to 45,000! Has anyone got any references to this? I heard some people talking about it in the pub last night and wondered if there was any truth in it as i think I read it somewhere - maybe My link? I couldn't find it in the archives!
Danno Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I wouldn't mind it being changed. Anyway, who is Thailand's best player?
21st Century Fox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I wouldn't mind it being changed. Anyway, who is Thailand's best player? Maybe not the best but this is the only guy in the Thai national squad playing outside Thailand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surat_Sukha Although this guy could be the keeper we're looking for

However, it appears ManUtd are keen to take him on trial. Could Sven convince him to come to us? Or maybe ManUtd could sign him and we can have on a season long loan! = ) Although, judging by the talent at such an age, he would be a fantastic investment!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 He looks very good. Anyone know the name of the soundtrack and the artists.

However, it would be only a matter of time before he played, and judging by his persistence to punch, would be booed and likely receive ill-judged and incorrect racist chants/songs from the blue faithful. Seriously though, he might be a good marketing ploy, and may well be a half decent keeper. But as it's been pointed out, Youtube has a tendency to make even the worst look sublime.
Merchant Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 He looks very good. Anyone know the name of the soundtrack and the artists.
Winchester Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 I heard they were going to add another tier this summer with 15,000 seats. All of them lounge chairs from ikea. And shane warne is opening a video arcade next to the club shop?
