Mac Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 I don't think there's a chance of this happening. Unless I've completely misjudged the owners there's no way that they would want this thug anywhere near the club. Me neither - leave him to rot in Coventry!
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 No. I like the idea of the kids looking upto the players as role models, I dont want to sit there having to explain to them what he has done over the years and them to have it in thier minds its good to cheer for people who have done that. We have and will have people who are not perfect but I hope we do draw the line at persistent violent sex offenders.

Foxes_Trust Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 The Trust did an on-line members survey a few weeks ago & one of the questions was similar to this, with 70% of members being against signing King - we fed this information back to the club
Thracian Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 People are very being slightly hypercritical here. There have been many instances of footballers breaking the law and acting inappropriately, but that's ok is it ? Drink driving, fighting etc....... Yes what he did was totally wrong there's no doubt about it and personally he wouldn't be my first choice of players to sign but like I said earlier IF he does sign then there's sod all you/ we cab do about it. Be very interesting to see peoples reactions if he smashes the goals in.......... I don't care if he scores 100 goals a season, I won't be watching him much less paying for the so called privilege. I'd rather we stayed in The Championship for 20 years than get there with his help.

ajthefox Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 I don't want him here but if he signs he signs, not a lot we can do about it.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 So 7 of you were against it? I was going to make that joke before deciding that people probably would not find it funny....Seems I made the right decision!!
