Eeer who's better then and don't say Dann cos he's leaving brum.

**** off Bamba's the best in the league lol lol lol. Luke Chambers? Tomkins? Morgan?

People really underestimate Bamba.

I watched him in the flesh in 3 games this season and on internet TV in 2? others. He looked a better class than any other central defender on the pitch in all those games, especially when he combine his attacking threat with his defensive skill.

Still haterz gotta hate.

Don't mind Bamba he is ok, but think he's had a lot 'go his way', It's been more luck than judgement the things he has got away with.

He ok, better than Matt Mills has been, which doesn't say alot, but he is abit of a liability, people need to realise this.

Bamba's an accident waiting to happen. There's no doubt he is talented but he's seriously going to cost us one of these days. He was lucky on Saturday not to get caught out for being far too casual.

people think he's brilliant............brilliant defenders don't mess around !!

Tomkins is no were near as good as bamba and the other two are part of a back four that's leaked loads of goals this season. So try again pal.

Bamba may be an accident waiting happen and he does play on the edge but haven't our other defenders already had accidents and cost us I don't recall anyone harping on about them being an accident waiting to happen.dunno.gif

Now you're just showing yourself up, as stupid. Puerile nonense, in the extreme!

You are having a laugh aren't you? He has his days where he is great in the most part, I give you that but there are so many little errors in his play that cost us dear in the long run. The only game I have seen live this year was the Bristol game as I play cricket at the weekends but I noticed that he was main cause of there first goal with a terrible clearing header which went about two yards to the nearest red shirt. He was all over the place at the back and there were various little errors which didn't help our cause either. The bits I have heard on the radio have also eluded to these sloppy mistakes, of course Matt Mills has to shoulder some of the blame for the pretty poor defensive performances but when you have such a loose cannon next to you it certainly would affect my concentration levels.

I'm probably going to upset everyone now.

I don't have a problem with Bamba or Tunchev. Yes, Bamba sometimes forgets he's not Ronaldinho but in the main he's fine. Some of the 'heroic' (that is not an attempt at hyperbole) last ditch challenges he made against Reading when Mr Mills what shitting his pants were truely superb.

Tunchev's first touch is rivaled only by Fernandes (I can see a whole other arguement starting after that comment.) He is supremely composted on the ball. He doesn't panic when attackers run at him, he's not the quickest but his positioning is spot on.

In short Bamba and Tunchev would be my first choice centre backs.

That could work, maybe it is because Mills and Bamba just aren't compatible as a pairing I guess if you implanted Tunchev's brain in Bamba's body you would have a pretty great defender.
