Babylon Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Just checked news now and it says that LCFC.com released a article called Fixture Release Test Run? Anyone see what it was? URL: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2370849,00.html OMG... we play Forest first. Not really it's blank.
thybluefox Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Fixtures aren't released till the 17th. I doubt they've even been decided yet. Probably just some monkey pressing the wrong button, the people who run the site really don't have a clue.
Petchy Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 I caught a glimpse of it when it first went up, seemed to be just a test of the page format.
CosbehFox Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 It was Premium TV (who run a lot of Football League sites) testing their ability to put 70 plus clubs fixture lists on at one time.
StanSP Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Tilt your screen backwards and you'll be able to see fixtures up til October at least. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA JK.
savedave Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 I remember watching a video last year on how they produce the fixture list. It was simply done on a laptop within seconds. They have pre-set algorithms that determine a whole number of conditions (e.g. Forest can't play on the same day as Notts County). This is done on the day of release so there is no way of knowing the fixtures before the 17th. I'm sure you can all wait 2 weeks!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Remember reading a article on BBC one saying that so many temas affect so many other teams' games and when they're playing without anyone realising. All confusing really, but no doubt we wont be happy with our set of fixtures. Will be amazed if none of Forest, Derby, Cov, Brum are on a Tuesday night. As usual we will play Leeds, Ipswich and Millwall around Christmas, Cardiff will be a Tuesday night, and Blackpool away will be in January/February when you want them away in the warm weather.
CosbehFox Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 This is done on the day of release so there is no way of knowing the fixtures before the 17th. I'm sure you can all wait 2 weeks! Myth. They have to be sent to the club at least 2 weeks before so they can consult the police and SAG.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Myth. They have to be sent to the club at least 2 weeks before so they can consult the police and SAG. Yep, I can remember someone on here telling us we had MK Dons at home in the League One season a few days before they came out.
