Maybes Posted 7 July 2011 Posted 7 July 2011 The 'IN' crowd We were just the first few that actually met up a few times, booted the ball about for a few hours then got pissed up. People should seriously come along its a good crack. Met some great people through this forum aswell, some friends 4 lyf yo.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 No it's not! We have sufficient numbers to have decent tourno although it looks like we'll have to manage without referees. I've no problem with people who can't make it I'm just surprised that we so many new young members we were inundated with people wanting to play, when I was young enough to play and despite being crap I always wanted to play. Maybe TV and video games have stronger hold these days. Sorry to continue contributing when it's already clear I can't turn up but davieG I agree with you - seems the "even younger" generation would rather win the champion's league 6 times with Rochdale on FIFA than get out and have an afternoon of 6-a-side, that's a real shame. The number of games I've missed out on this year cos of one thing or another, so bloody frustrating given that I'm willing to bust a gut to take part in them yet there are obviously people who just can't be arsed... Or maybe it's the fact that the people who are mostly participating are 20+. I think I speak for the 'younger members' when I say this, you can just take a look and see on page 1, with people saying they'd do it in a year or two's time. Or maybe, an In group does exist, and people just don't want to play with this so called 'In group.' I'd love to know who's in this group by the way. Any guesses anyone?

I'm definitely not in the 'in group', and I'm (hopefully) still a 'younger member' at 19, so don't let that stop you, buddy

My son is 8 and he's playing, all be it, he's a mighty good looking lad, people say he's got his mums look, but come and along were all very friendly. More importantly- WHERE IS THE POON, 10,000 men and this forum is a sausage fest!!!!

Any guesses anyone? well it's gonna be the guys with the most posts who have been here the longest. it's the same on any internet forum. not saying it's necessarily the case on here but it can easily be perceived that way
Magictv Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Wish I could come, shit at football but would be a laugh. Unfortunately I'm down in oxford till weds, reckon there's likely to be another this summer?
Ashley Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 The 'in crowd' as people are calling it are the people to turn up to the foxestalk games and tournements. Tevez, Ched, Maybes, Tom Lofty(username on foxestalk?), C-Man, Ashley(me), LCFC_JME, CatBurger, Wilkes, Joe., LD3, Bert, Kilworth, Singh, Sparky, OriginalRoboFox, Smuts, Finners, Tadders, StandUpAndSing(FloatingFox) That's just off the top of my head but there are plenty more. You'll never be in the 'in crowd' if you don't come to these occasions. Its a great laugh, execpt from when we played talking balls >_> COME DOWN SUNDAY FOLKES, the more the merrier.
Simo86 Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 I've never played in one of the tournaments and i'm playing sunday. I'm well up for it, should be a cracking day. At the end of the day we all have one thing in common and that's Leicester City!! Who cares if you don't know anyone, there's at least one thing we can all talk about!!

Sparky Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 Its the most laid back atmosphere ever, everybody is made to feel welcome. I can't make the Tourny but may nip for a beer if you lot are heading somewhere.
Mee Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 I am very tempted. Seems pretty laid back, i am sure you will all hug me and welcome me with open arms.
Corky Posted 8 July 2011 Posted 8 July 2011 I'd hardly met anyone and played two years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And part of the team that won it
