Itsthejoeker Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Yeah, it's trickier for me as I'm moving to Lincoln and I have no idea really of journey times/people to go to games with. Plus I'll be away for parts of the year and know no other LCFC fans. I live in swindon. 2 hours 15 to the stadium (with no traffic) 2 hours 30 on a good run
Spudulike Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I live in swindon. 2 hours 15 to the stadium (with no traffic) 2 hours 30 on a good run 2 hours 45 mins for me on a good run. The cost of petrol is the killer for me. If I lived within 50 miles then a season ticket for me would be a no brainer. However, can't justify a season ticket as I can't make mid-week home games and won't go to matches broadcast on TV. I'm thinking about going for M2 or M5 and buying tickets for others as and when I can.
sdb Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Yep petrol is the main issue for me. At least doubles the price of the match day. Need to make sure the next job is in Leicester!
Spudulike Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 It's not clear whether an MEM.2 Membership will have the same priority as an MEM.5 or MEM.10 when it comes to away tickets etc ...or is a membership the same whichever flavour ??
Walshy5 Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Do you still get 2 quid off other matchday tickets like last season?
Spudulike Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Do you still get 2 quid off other matchday tickets like last season? Apparently not. I've just tried to buy 3 on LCFC Direct....gave up. Bleeding useless
Guest parky0607 Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 The online system also knows im 20 now as well, cant even pass as an under 18 anymore... Ah well under 22 it is.
Guest parky0607 Posted 26 July 2011 Posted 26 July 2011 I live in swindon. 2 hours 15 to the stadium (with no traffic) 2 hours 30 on a good run I live in blackpool 2 hours 45 on an average run too. Forest away last season was a killer, didnt get home till about midnight
Collymore Posted 27 July 2011 Posted 27 July 2011 I have a few questions about the memberships... If you take the 5 game package, can you book your tickets online? If so and you wanted to go with someone else who isn't a member, can you buy the seat next to you for them? Also I take it you can't make the platinum games, your platinum ticket could be downgraded to a gold ticket? if so, is the online system clever enough to work this out?

Probably best emailing the club. I've brought a membership and my online account now says 'Member' but I can't see how I claim a match as one of my free ones. You can choose who the ticket is for though, either a fellow member who you have as friend or family on your account or a non-member.
NorthernFox Posted 27 July 2011 Posted 27 July 2011 Think yourselves lucky, I can't drive so have to resort to Trains because I refuse to sit on a coach for seven hours just to come home. Booked two months in advance, Friday 12th Return to Newcastle Sunday 14th, plus 2 tickets for Reading £209.00 before I've had a pint. Shocking! Five years ago i could come down with the wife for £40-60 for the both of us. Me aside, hardly encouraging people to give up their cars.... Very annoying when they advertise "To London" for sixpence halfpenny!!
