MC Prussian Posted 9 May 2012 Author Posted 9 May 2012 Falcao 2, Bilbao 0 The Athletic train stops here... or doesn't it?
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2012 Posted 9 May 2012 Atlético have given Bilbao and everyone who has played Bilbao a lesson in how to win easily. What a great performance. Keeper, heroic defence, midfield and Falcao bossing all 4 defenders by himself up front, everyone of them have been superb. This is the second time (ever) that I've watched a Bilbao game and they've been battered both times. Maybe I'm just bad luck for them, because every man and his dog has spent the past 6 months telling me how they're the best team in the world, the next Barcelona, Llorente is the best striker in the world etc etc.
Super_horns Posted 10 May 2012 Posted 10 May 2012 Some great goals tonight and Madrid seemed happy enough to win!
Darkon84 Posted 10 May 2012 Posted 10 May 2012 Superb work by Atletico, every single man was up for it more than the Bilbao players. Bilbao were so frustrating last night, sloppy in posession, none of their through balls were working, and most of the deliveries in to the box simply werent good enough, I'm surprised Llorente didn't lose his rag. Though as poor as Bilbao were at times, Madrid were excellent, particularly on the break. That man Falcao is a little bit special, deserved a hat trick.
