I don't know why they don't just give the Coventry fans the away end and us the rest.

Bit like you did when you were struggling in mediorcrity (or worse) in the 06.07 season when you bought 1,700 here? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Hey george, there's probally more posts in this thread then there will be u lot Saturday!!! Dont get jealous because we are going forward as a club, and your doing the opposite

How is it jealousy? Fair play to you lot for having Thai investment. Considering we have 10,000 season ticket holders compared to your 13,000 we don't do too badly when you consider the differences in signings, pre season optimism and player ability.

What, 3rd game of the season is a nothing game?

It was a nothing game, also on tv. Only time we've not sold out at the Ricoh I think?

When have we been near the play offs, in our 10 years in this shite division we've never been anywhere near the play offs.

You didn't sell out last year either, not having a go at Leicester's support, I think it's good (numbers wise), but you have to look at our last 10 seasons and have a look at what we've had to shout about, **** all. To still average 17,000 isn't bad at all.

How much do you think you guys would average if you had our previous 10 seasons?

To be fair to you it doesnt help when "your" (councils) stadium is stuck 3 miles outside of your concrete jungle, on a dual carriageway with a 2m exclusion zone around it for parking, do you still pay for pies with tokens? Should have left it as fokin gasworks.

Mate, we went down and also spent a season in L1 - we too have had to put up with shite for years.

We did average 20,000 in our League One season, but that may have been due to the fact that from October onward it was patently obvious that we were going to walk it.

Even between 2004 and 2008, where we verged between mediocre and absolutely woeful we averaged 22-23,000 in spite of there being no realistic hope of us achieving anything.

I've said before and I've said again, the Ricoh Arena does suffer from location being so far from Coventry city centre but I do believe that we have a bigger fanbase than them.

You were winning consistently in League one.

You do have a bigger fanbase than you, im not disputing that. But you've had a lot more success than us in the past 10 years,

Between the season the Ricoh opened up untill about 2 seasons ago we averaged 23,000 - 21,000. The past two years its gone down a lot, because we're shite.

There's a great post on one of the Cov forums where the guy seems to believe that we've only been given an allocation of 2000. He's in for a shock on Saturday...

Since 2005 you have finished above us more times then us being ahead of yourselves, whether you like it or not you guys got exicited and was a point some of your fans belived you could make the play offs last year, 2006 you finished quite high up a season just like we just had. You had a good run in the Fa Cup not long ago?

We might have been consistently winning in league one however we till were playing teams such as Stockport on a Tuesday night, how many away fans did we get during league one compared to teams in the championship taking at least 2k .

So to clarify.... you're shite, Leicester are more successful, and we have a bigger fanbase. ;)

We had a better average attendance than you when we were in league 1, we didn't have much to shout about then but still got the crouds in.

2008/09 (the season we got relegated)

your highest attendance was 22637 (against birmingham) and your lowest was 14621 (burnley) with an average of 17407

our highest was 30542 (against scunthorpe) and our lowest was 16378 (stockport) with an average of 20253
