Leicester No.7s

Hi fellow foxestalkers

Being only 15 I only know Leicesters history from my era, therefore I don't know some players that did great things for the club, I know the obvious LCFC greats (lineker, weller, worthington) but not many more, anyway I have the no.7 on the back of my retro shirt and wanted to get a past LCFC player on the back so I was wondering if anyone could give me a few no.7s for Leicester in the past.

Sorry if this thread seems pointless, just curious

Cheers;)

Keith Weller. The greatest player to grace the blue top of Leicester City and wear number 7 and a fitting tribute to the man.

Gallagher, Weller, Lennon, Hume, Thompson?

Im 10 years older than you mate but my personal preference would be for Lennon

Cheers mate, obviously I know all of those, but don't think Hume can be classed as a great...can he?

According to your profile, you're 14. How on earth can you say that?

That may well be the case and I'd expect all but the youngest of Leicester fans to know that Weller is one of the greats, but I acknowledge that as something that is widely agreed by City fans of previous generations, it's not a conclusion that I've come to. You've posted as if you've formed your own opinion based on seeing many of our greats come and go in person.

I'm not a stranger to reading and watching videos, but I just don't see how you can post that in such a tone and have the audacity to put "/thread" at the end so authoritatively about a player whose City career ended a mere 18 years before you were even born.
