Uncle Albert Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 What a ridiculous thing to say. By whose standards? Five points behind Juventus. Inter Milan are top and they got beaten by Liverpool who are "very very poor this season" by your standards. The standards that they were thedefending Champions. Also that says it all about Italian football this season doesnt it?
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Come on Wigan. Shame Denny Landzaat isn't there anymore...
Uncle Albert Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Surely the scousers win in the San Siro is better than Arsenal's last week? Seeing as Inter are 5 points clear at the top of Serie A. Torres is my God!
Phube Posted 16 March 2008 Author Posted 16 March 2008 I demand a Thread sub-name change!!!!! Well done Boro'!!!
Matt Posted 16 March 2008 Posted 16 March 2008 You had to laugh at Wenger throwing his toys out the pram (again) when Arsenal were 1-0 down against Boro.
Phube Posted 16 March 2008 Author Posted 16 March 2008 Doing some rather extensive research... Arsénal have been behind in 10 of their PL matches this season.... Ans only lost 1!! This is why I hate them!
accessory Posted 16 March 2008 Posted 16 March 2008 Mark Halsey had a mare yesterday (should be done for bestiality ) The corner for Arsenal's equaliser should never have been allowed. And Mido's red card was very harsh. But the gooners still couldn't win. Looks like it could be another trophy-free season for them..
lildave3 Posted 16 March 2008 Posted 16 March 2008 Good ol' Boro. I don't like them either, but at least they have taken 4 points off of Arsenal
Simi Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 3rd!!!! Haha!!! I think it's quite sad how you'd rather see Chelsea ahead of Arsenal.
Uncle Albert Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 I think it's quite sad how you'd rather see Chelsea ahead of Arsenal. Personally mate i would. I have reason to though all of my family except support Chelsea so...
ASH17LCFC Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 I think its a year too soon for Arsenal, they will learn alot of lessons from this season and hopefuly next year they will be able to go the whole way. Still got a great chance in the Champions League.
Matt Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 I think it's quite sad how you'd rather see Chelsea ahead of Arsenal. Why not?! I'm not really a Chelsea fan and it is tough decision between Chelsea and Arsenal but I think Chelsea rank just higher than Arsenal, in the fact they have what I hate Arsenal for not having - English players, The English players Chelsea have maybe arsehole and twats but even so. I was hoping for a draw today but if anyone had to win I am happy it was Chelsea, Aslong as Chelsea don't win the league, C'mon United!

ASH17LCFC Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Thankyou Andy Gray. Yea but agree with him 100 per cent. Chelsea haven't been better then Arsenal this season and i for one would bet anything they end up with nothing Chelsea that is. They play boring and long balls up to Drogba all the time.

No, no they do not. Arsenaly probably have been better than Chelsea this season if i'm honest, but can you see Arsenal winning anything either?
Uncle Albert Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Chelsea today played effective football what Arsenal fail to do. What would you rather play nice football or effective which wins you Championships. I know which i would choose.
Joe. Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Today's result didn't surprise me at all really and Chelsea fully deserved it. As good a footballing side as Arsenal can be at times, they still lack the quality of a title winning team for me. Maybe in a couple of seasons they may prove me wrong as many of their first team are still young and will mature given time.

I agree, but the Champions League is still a very realistic trophy for Arsenal to be won.

ASH17LCFC Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 As it is for Chelsea. Not really, Chelsea Hoof ball doesn't work well in Europe. Arsenal can move the ball quicker and can get good balls in. Its works very well in Europe.
