lildave3 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 This has been such a good day. **** off Arsenal.
l444ry Posted 20 January 2008 Posted 20 January 2008 There's trouble aht mill. Arsene Wenger, the semi-sighted manager of Arsenal has today become embroiled in fresh controversy, this time regarding his real identity and nationality. Reporters delving into Professor Wengers murky past have today revealed that he is not French as previously thought, but is in reality an Englishman from Hebden Bridge. It can be revealed that his real identity is in fact Archibald Dingle, a former professional pigeon fancier in his native Yorkshire, who in the late eighties was prosecuted for taking the term 'pigeon fancier' a little too literally and was successfully prosecuted by the RSPCB on several counts of avian abuse. These charges led to him disappearing for several years before resurfacing under his new identity. The revelations seem to cast serious doubt on his future at the club, whose board have called an extraordinary meeting to discuss the matter further, with calls for his immediate dismissal most likely. A source close to the club confided; "dealing quickly with this matter is of course a matter of great urgency to the board. A club of the stature of Arsenal can not afford to be seen to have an Englishman as manager" When asked to comment on the reports, Monsieur Dingle replied; "I haven't seen owt"
Matt Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Get in!!! I dare Arsénal to score 2!!!! Don't! We've seen it done in the past. Boring, Boring Arsenal Was going to say I dare Arsenal to score 3 though...If it wasn't for the bastard post!
MC Prussian Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 So much for the Cup... See you again next weekend, Phube.
Ultra Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Whinger gets his come-uppance at last... Maybe in future he'll start treating the cups, and opponents, with some respect.
Dames Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Whinger gets his come-uppance at last... Maybe in future he'll start treating the cups, and opponents, with some respect. Its nothing to do with respect. He wants to give his younger players valueable first team experience. The cups are perfect for this because there is less pressure. And cmon they have been in or around the semi finals for the past 3/4 years.
lookwhaticando Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisted: "I did not know anything about it. I didn't see it."
Matt Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Hahaha! I love it. Adebayor and Bendter are apparently going to be investigated by the FA because of there bust-up The Football Association will look into a clash between Arsenal team-mates Emmanuel Adebayor and Nicklas Bendtner at the end of their team's 5-1 trouncing by Tottenham in the League Cup.The FA, English football's governing body, has requested television footage of Tuesday's altercation after referee Howard Webb confirmed he had not seen the entire incident. During the closing stages at White Hart Lane, with the tie already lost, Nicklas Bendtner - who had earlier scored an own goal - became involved in an altercation with team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor, and appeared to complain of being headbutted by the Togo international. Arsenal captain William Gallas stepped in to try to calm matters down, before then himself being confronted by the angry young Danish striker. Eventually, referee Webb had to intervene to restore order. As Webb revealed he did not witness the events in their entirety, the FA have now asked broadcasters to provide any relevant television footage. Once that is obtained, any incidents will be shown to Webb for his opinion. Should the referee indicate action would have been taken on the night had he witnessed it first hand, such as a red card for violent conduct, the FA can then retrospectively issue charges against any individuals. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger maintained he was not aware of the incident, while captain Gallas refused to single out anyone for blame. The France defender said: "I don't know what happened. I think everybody was disappointed with the score and they were nervous. "They know they made a mistake. Maybe they will speak with the boss to see why they did that." Gallas added: "We lost our calm. Sometimes it is difficult to be calm and it is not easy for some players to be calm. We were too nervous. We have to learn." Abdebayor has apologised for his part in the clash, explaining that the heat of the moment got the better of the duo. "We are a strong unit and what happened against Spurs will strengthen our desire and determination to compete for other targets," he told the club's official website. "Overall I think that we should have been more calm during the game and although I was pleased to get a goal back for the team when I came on, I am sorry for the disagreement with my teammate Nicklas. "We are both passionate about this club and sometimes that can be projected in the wrong way. It was a mistake. We want to focus on the games ahead and rely on our squad's great togetherness to achieve a fantastic season." More of the same next week/at the weekend please Arsenal

Matt Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 Cheer up Arsene Wenger, Oh what can it mean to a French moaning bastard, And a shit football team?! Love it. And don't give me, "It's a cup, that Arsenal ain't too bothered about" such as when they got hammered in the Carling Cup, The F.A Cup is the biggest cup in the world and to be hammered in that way to yet another rival, Perhaps not a local rival when they got hammered in the Carling Cup by Tottenham, but a competative rivalry, in which both teams hate each other. 4-0 Just need Arsenal to slip in the league now, and Man Utd to tap, tap, tap it in.
WetFlannel Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 Should have been more. No english players for Arsenal today? Cheerio
