lildave3 Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Not really, Chelsea Hoof ball doesn't work well in Europe. Arsenal can move the ball quicker and can get good balls in. Its works very well in Europe. Haven't they been in 3 semi finals in 4 years? or 4 in 5? Yeah I suppose 'Chelsea hoof ball' doesn't work. Ridiculous
ASH17LCFC Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Haven't they been in 3 semi finals in 4 years? or 4 in 5? Yeah I suppose 'Chelsea hoof ball' doesn't work. Ridiculous Yet how many finals They come against good teams and they do fook all. How many away games in europe have chelsea won in Europe then ?
lildave3 Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Yet how many finals They come against good teams and they do fook all.How many away games in europe have chelsea won in Europe then ? 2 of those semi finals have been against English opposition!!! I don't know off hand surprisingly, although I hardly think they do bad do they.
ASH17LCFC Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 2 of those semi finals have been against English opposition!!! :laugh:I don't know off hand surprisingly, although I hardly think they do bad do they. They win there home games but do fook all away. They beat the easy teams and then come up against good teams like Liverpool and Barca and they will lose.
lildave3 Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 They win there home games but do fook all away. They beat the easy teams and then come up against good teams like Liverpool and Barca and they will lose. I seem to recall them beating Bayern Munich one year. Arsenal too. Aswell as Barcelona. You seriously think Arsenal have been more successful in Europe than Chelsea?
Phube Posted 24 March 2008 Author Posted 24 March 2008 I think it's quite sad how you'd rather see Chelsea ahead of Arsenal. I'd rather see Forest, Derby and Cov win... than Arsénal!
Ultra Posted 24 March 2008 Posted 24 March 2008 I agree, but the Champions League is still a very realistic trophy for Arsenal to be won. Not with the draw they've got. Liverpool have been there and done that in the Champions League. The gooners haven't.. Could well be yet another trophy-free season for Wenger. He's lucky he has a very tolerant board (by big 4 standards).
Kilworthfox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Arsenal fans are shit! they completely ruined this Rolling Stones vid I did not know they liked the band so much
lavrentis Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Watching Wenger's celebrations turn into dissapointment. Priceless.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Well that result landed me a neat £20. Even if it did look very much in doubt for about 50 seconds. So I'll make a guest apperance in this thread. Whoppee.
Uncle Albert Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 Arsenal's season ruined in the space of 6 days. Priceless.
Joe. Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 It's always nice to see a pissed off Arsene Wenger. The man really pisses me off, he can be a complete arse at times.
Flexx Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 I love Arsene Wenger He used to be well quiet, but recently he's changed a lot. He's probably the most emotional manager in the league on the touchline. I want him to do well, but he's going to need to strengthen his squad a lot in the summer.
Flexx Posted 9 April 2008 Posted 9 April 2008 By the way, being a quarter french has nothing to do with me liking Wenger.
Phube Posted 14 April 2008 Author Posted 14 April 2008 Weeeeee.............. SPLAT!!!! (there goes Arsénal's last trophy!!) Even tried to cheat, but still didn't win!!!
Tilley Posted 14 April 2008 Posted 14 April 2008 Arsenal have dropped their game big time recently. I remember going to watch them before Christmas a couple of times and they were scoring for fun. Wenger needs to buy big in the summer.
Phube Posted 24 April 2008 Author Posted 24 April 2008 Oh dear, oh dear.. 3 seasons without out a trophy and the fans are turning!! Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hit back at fans who have turned on him after the club's third season without a trophy. "When people say you don't know what you are doing, that is disrespectful," he said. (Daily Star)
Fat Ron Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Arsenal are possibly the best footballing side in England, the problem is that they are also the mardiest and most arrogant bunch of ****ers in the world. I know several Arsenal 'fans', who when they win they deserve to win and are the greatest side etc etc, but when they lose they immediately get the hump and start blaming shite referee's or cheating opposition. Out of all Football supporters, I hate Arsenal the most
lildave3 Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Am I the only person who would rather watch Man U than Arsenal?
Uncle Albert Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Am I the only person who would rather watch Man U than Arsenal? Certainly not. Arsenal bore me, fair play they pass it but its not as good as watching United's direct football that gets them alot of goals on regular basis.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Having sat through 180 minutes of the most turgid European football you could ever wish for this week, I still think it is a travesty that they're out, purely for my own entertainment. I may sound melodramatic but for me those Semi-finals reflected badly on European football.
Joe. Posted 24 April 2008 Posted 24 April 2008 Having sat through 180 minutes of the most turgid European football you could ever wish for this week, I still think it is a travesty that they're out, purely for my own entertainment. I may sound melodramatic but for me those Semi-finals reflected badly on European football. Arsenal are not in the semi-finals because they don't deserve to be. Playing pretty football doesn't always get you the results you need, as shown by Arsenal this season. As shown by Arsenal for the past three seasons. They're a top four team and their last trophy was the F.A cup in the 2004/05 season. They've been outdone comfortably by United and Chelsea this season after allowing their great lead to slip from their own hands and they were outdone by Liverpool in the Champions League. Add this to humiliations in the F.A cup and league cup by United and Tottenham respectively and you have a team who don't deserve to win anything at the moment. So saying it's a "travesty" and that the semi-finals reflect badly on European football is rubbish to be honest. They may play good football but they're still not good enough.
