ozleicester Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 so, happy days. The online ticket office ran like a dream i managed to get my tickets for Forrest and im happily clicking, then it gets to the bit, collect or post?.. no choice, has to be posted... so i click Royal Mail and they add 3.95 to the cost... THREE NINETY FIVE!! to send a simple, single ticket to Birmingham... fook me when they said Royal Mail i didnt realise they were going to be delivered by Kate and William personally.
Guest MattP Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 blah blah blah have you not seen how much Top has spent? blah blah go support forest.
joelmurray Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I ordered my tickets for Rotherham away over the phone and wasn't charged a penny extra...£4 is a load of rubbish to post a piece of card... Sorry to rub it in!
kam6 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Top has spent alot. BUT F**K me, 4 quid to send a ticket. piss take if they have done it special delivery due to the time factor, that cousl be the reason why its so expensive!
danny. Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I've never been charged extra for postage when buying tickets, weird?
Jace Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 so, happy days. ozleicester Posted 16 August 2011 Author Posted 16 August 2011 By the way... still havent got the ticket, so it would appear its not even gone 1st class
AdamN Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 in the title you have put £4.... I too was mislead by the thread title. I mean, £4 is an fvcking rip-off if you ask me. £3.95 on the other hand is an absolute steal!
ozleicester Posted 16 August 2011 Author Posted 16 August 2011 in the title you have put £4.... My oz keyboard does not have a pound symbol and i couldnt be arsed to write "three pounds ninety five pence for postage"
Zingari Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I blame the Trav le bleus, they are nothing less than modern day highwaymen
Larry_LCFC Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 I think you're getting a tad confused oz. The retail (ie. megastore) delivery is £3.95. Ticket delivery is free. Although if its too close to the game, which im guessing it is, you can only collect
Jace Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 It's £4. ****ing hell. dont worry its not! its slightly lower....
Jace Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 My oz keyboard does not have a pound symbol and i couldnt be arsed to write "three pounds ninety five pence for postage" on a serious note oz it does sound like megastore delivery just give them a call hopefully they will refund it to you as it does sound incorrect
ozleicester Posted 16 August 2011 Author Posted 16 August 2011 Thanks everyone... can a mod please close and remove this... having checked with them.. although the site stated it would cost me the extra postage, they havent charged it. so i remain a happy little vegemite and love the new online ticketing

Trav Le Bleu Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 That sounds expensive even for special delivery. I'm betting they use DHL.
