Important Information For Season Ticket Holders

Ahead of tomorrow night's npower Championship fixture against Bristol City at King Power Stadium, the Club would like to inform Season Ticket Holders of some temporary changes to the Seat Exchange Programme.

Prior to the planned introduction of an Access Control System to King Power Stadium during the autumn, which will see supporters using their season ticket card and a bar code reader to enter the stadium, supporters wishing to use Seat Exchange should follow the procedures detailed below:

·Season Ticket Holders must notify the Ticket Office and submit their Season Card in advance of the home league fixture that they are unable to attend.

·Season Ticket Holders must also stipulate which game they wish to use their additional Seat Exchange tickets for, together with any specific requirements for these tickets.

·The Ticket Office will retain the Season Card for the game that the Season Ticket Holder is unable to attend. The Ticket Office will then return the Season Card via the post immediately after that game.

·Additional Seat Exchange tickets can only be requested for games that are played after the game that Season Ticket Holders are unable to attend.

Once the Access Control system has been implemented, tested and is fully functional, the new software will allow the Club to see if Season Cards have been activated for any particular fixture to support Seat Exchange requests.

The Seat Exchange programme is available for Gold Fixtures during the 2011/12 season only, is strictly subject to availability and is available for a maximum of any four Gold Fixtures per season.

Leicester City would like to thank Season Ticket Holders for their understanding and patience on this matter.

This makes sense on the clubs behalf because prior to the above, you could easily say you can't attend a game but still go in because there is no access control at the minute.

However, what if they get lost in the post.

Also it becomes significantly limiting if you have to say in advance which game you want to use it for.

It just reinforces the view that they've been very lacks in ensuring that ticket related facilities were up and running in time.

They also seem to changing the rules by limiting the number of exchanges you can make to 4. I don't think this was stipulated in any of the details they have previously sent out.

Also how does this work if you realise on the morning of a game that you can't make it, seems to me this hasn't been thought through properly.

It's been thought through so that they can screw everyone over.

Anyone with 5 minutes spare care to challenge the club about this, changing the rules after you have purchased the season ticket is a joke. Going to try and find the info I got when buying the ticket to see what it said.

On the season ticket information page it states

- Seat Exchange entitling you to a free ticket for an alternative Gold fixture, subject to availability, if you miss a game

No limit specified

Bloody short notice as well! I live over 2 hours away and probably can't go tomorrow. if people can't make it to the game tomorrow, it's quite likely because they're not around. If I could get over to the ticket office to hand over my season ticket, I'd go to the match! Shambles again.
