Jaspa Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 "There are still talks going on and if a striker comes then we will be happy. If not we are still happy with what we have got," he said. This little sentance is VERY worrying.... It could be yet another message to Bristol, saying were comfortable how we are , and we could just wait for Nicky meening less money for them. Very hopefull thinking, but could be some substance and major gameplaying going on

MikeyT Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is again being linked with a move for Roque Santa Cruz.
Darkon84 Posted 24 August 2011 Posted 24 August 2011 Celtic being linked too. I think this rumour may be dead.
MikeyT Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 According to reports in Spain, Real Betis have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz on a season-long loan, with the Premier League club paying a large percentage of the Paraguayan's wages.

One Arm Babba Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 the wages at Manchester City must be ridiculous? Not according to Nasri. It's not about money apparently. Ha ha ha, yeah right.
Raw Dykes Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Not according to Nasri. It's not about money apparently. Ha ha ha, yeah right. While I agree with you that money almost certainly is what Nasri is after, I would say that Arse-anal do look to be falling apart, and I think, with practically infinite funds, it's only a matter of time before Man City dominate the PL and maybe even Europe.
