We have made 11 signings practically a brand new squad they need time to adjust to each other playing and in all the games there have been sparks of play that look promising we just need some kindle to start the fire and we will be away. So instead of making stupid topics about get MON back get behind the sven and the team and at least give them ****ing time!

Will you be saying this when we lose to Forest and Southampton, when being the key word here, because there's not a ****ing chance this bunch of clowns are going to beat them, and are playing catch up for the rest of the season, or worse???

If we needed more time to make 11 signings gel, should we have made 11 signings in the first place? Sven has had the pre season just like any other club in this division.. I can't see Southampton or Brighton or the sheep shaggers needing this time to make their new signings slot straight into the team.. Give Sven time yes but don't merely overlook our shortcomings... Will you feel the same if we lose on Saturday... It would appear that there could be more to this than merely time, don't ignore the fact.

The midfield is scared to play adventurous balls forward to create something incase it doesn't come off. Dropping the captain and £5million signing is ****ing bizarre, cannot be good for spirit in the dressing room.

They shouldnt need time to gel, most of them have been here since the start of summer, what is pre season for? The fact that Sven doesnt know his best team or formation is a major factor in us being shite, as is the fact we needlessly bought too many players in midfield. If we need tiem to gel why driop Mills?! £5 million on the bench after two games, great decision. We arent very good because of poor management on Sven's part.
foxes2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 im am all for giving sven time but he has had the best part of a year in charge know, brought some good signings in, look we have made a bad start and the fans are obvioulsy not going to be happy but alot of managers at this level dont last more than a year in charge and that is just the nature of football, i feel sorry for managers these days but its just something that they have to deal with, its football and very unpredictable, one week you are losing 5-0 the next you are winning 5-0

You cant really count the results in pre season, Leicester tried many formations including playing Schlupp at left back and oakley at right back etc Yes I agree dropping the captain was a bit strange but your original comments are just crazy We hardly going to be playing catch up, we cannot win every game can we, look at norwich they lost to Watford last year on the opening game of the season and went on to get promoted

Southampton and Brighton have the samething that we had under peason after promotion, momentum and that winning confidence. Ive not over looked shortcomings either theres no avoiding it was shocking but at times theres some glimpses of something good which will surely come out sometime soon

How can you possbily gauge anything by 3 games, need i remind you that we have another 43 to go? Judge after 10 games, I am willing to bet that we get a result at forest, and we will do well this season,. You appear to have got carried away with all of the media specualtion, hype and level of expectation. Do you honestly believe that we should be playing teams off the park and winning 5 nil? I bet you boo dont you? How about being positive and supporting your team!! The booing at games makes me sick....

He must of known by then Schulp at left back or Oakley anywhere was not going to in his plans for the start of the season. I like him but its getting very hard to defend a lot of the stuff he is doing, if it wasnt someone as popular as Sven he would be being absolutely slated for it.

If he wasnt this big name who had apparantly done really well in football (which I think is very debatable in recent years, and for me he is nothing but a merecenary who starts off well and ultimately delievers nothing) he would be under so much more pressure. Fans just love to defend him, when really they cant see the bigger pricture. Sven is at fault.

St. Ledger is a proven Championship centre-back and ought to be a more than adequate replacement. It's easy to criticise with hindsight, but that's why we have a big squad: to use it.

Perhaps people should turn their attention to the man in charge of football affairs on the pitch. How much time does he have? Having sat in my seat and witnessed substitutions which keep to the same flaming 4-3-3 nonsense with Waghorn out on the wing, or wide right or whatever footballing term you want to give it for being plain out of position, my patience is wearing thin.

Look at what is happening, compare it to other clubs and expand your argument Why sign so many, well would u want moreno n'guessen neilsen etc representing you the amount of players brought in where needed we had a small squad of barely average players all the signings have quality although the amount of cm's brought in was a bit over top possibly. We have all the pressure at home 20,000 expectant fans with everyone else in league desperate to take points off us. Reading playing well, not really they beat us we werent exactly good and they lost to pompey and where outclassed from wot ive heard and they only just got points from millwall hardly good form? Sven has been here 10 months granted but look where we ****ing where he got us to the right end of the table from bottom he has done a good job so far have some believe..

Sven was accused of not dropping big ego's in the england squad and villified for it, he doest it tonight and then ohh what a suprise vilified again...

What I do expect is that we can string more than 2 passes together, and play with a bit of urgency, especially at home! I don't boo at all, the last thing players playing with no confidence need is to be booed.
