Bert Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Surprised with Harding. I really thought he had a nightmare, hence he got taken off. Although his goal was decent. Cork and Lallana are our best players. Footymad is a bit pants. Best to try www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum Although we do have a fair share of bed wetters on there. One win and we're lucky, one loss and we're going down. Very similar to here then....
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 always good to hear from a sporting opposition fan good luck and "play up pompey" and all that i am only joking Behave!
Fox92 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 I thought Lallana was excellent, I'd love to see him in our midfield.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Yesterday's game was a great game of football. There was a fantastic atmosphere from both sets of supporters and overall a great advertisement for football. A game of two halfs and anyone would agree that you dominated first half and we threw everything at you second half and overall a very exciting game of football. Your keeper was amazing second half and put in a performance his dad would of been proud of. Good luck for the rest of the season. Thanks you have restored my faith in Saints fans
El Sieffsi Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Thank you. Nice of you to take the time to leave such a nice, honest, well-written message on an away forum. Wish more visitors to these boards were like you, rather than the idiots we've had (I'm thinking of Bristol City fans mainly). I couldn't make it to the match yesterday, but it sounds by all accounts that Southampton are the best side we've faced so far this season, so I'm sure you're in for a good campaign. Good luck to you, too (except for when we meet again, obviously). Agreed..good to hear from fans with sensible points of view..i thought your support were the loudest away fans we had for a while..and NO booing at the final whistle..hope SOME of our fans noticed!!..Good luck for the season..but not too much eh??

Never understood booing your own players, if they performed badly just walk out and don't clap. One question to the Saints fans, do you usually get a good away following like that or is it because you've just come back up and you're doing very well at present? Either way it was an impressive turn out from the south coast. I haven't been on the edge of my seat like the last 30 mins for ages!
z-layrex Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Is that tongue in cheek? I thought it was hilariously cringeworthy It's so cringing I can't bear to look, the people who do it have to be some of the saddest people i've ever seen.
brockmyster Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Honestly one of the best sides ive seen at king power/walkers in recent years always seemed to find space and passed so fluently i have no doubt that u will be up there in may!
