No loans says Sven

i don't see raoul moat scoring 50 goals. he's dead.

:D

I might actually believe Sven here because it looks like we're making a transition to 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield. Leicester have enough midfielders already, and they will not need to play two wingers as often as they did before. If Sven needs to switch to 4-3-3, he can call Gally or Dyer from the bench to play on the wing, or Schlupp to play as forward. Even with Waghorn out, we probably have enough cover while Nugent recovers, so Sven might be biding his time until the January window.

(Now watch Sven go get himself two new wingers and a striker.)

It all depends on who's available really. There are potential loans that would walk into out squad in any position. It just depends what we get offered.

City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson could still add to his squad when the loan window opens tomorrow, but football director Andrew Neville said they are in no rush to do so.

Yes, we will probably do some loans in and some out, no doubt, but the nucleus of the squad is now in place," he said.

"The target we set ourselves at the start of the close season to August 31 has been achieved, a bit later than we hoped probably.

"There may be situations where there are positional problems we may have to address, but I personally don't see any urgency at the moment.

"We have a first-team squad of circa 22 and, with the number of substitutes being less this season, arguably that is enough.

"But then there may be players we want to loan out to develop them, and some opportunities for players to come in as well. It is fluid I would say, but there is no desperation to do anything at the moment.

"We will just take stock of the situation now, look at what we have and go from there."
