chili_con_carne Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 His birthday today! However wikipedia says its on 9th August. (09/08/1984) When actually it is 08/09/1984. I edited it to the real date and it has been changed back. Just shows how unreliable the site is. Also noticed that on matty fryatt's wikipedia, it says this. During his youth years Fryatt was a successful amateur boxer and has stated he would of enjoyed a career in boxing had he not become a footballer. During this time he claimed a victory over the now famous Ricky Hatton, which Hatton claims was his worst beating he ever took. Surely not true? Anyway happy birthday to gally.
Jobyfox Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 It depresses me more that the site allows such appalling use of English, but then I am just a curmudgeonly old pedant.
jonthefox Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 Perversly, i'd quite like to see fryatt smack the shoit out of Hatton.
Jimothy Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 His wife tweeted earlier that the FA have it wrong on the register. So it is today, but all sources have it as 9th of August.
sphericalfox Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 Perversly, i'd quite like to see fryatt smack the shoit out of Hatton. I bet he missed him more than he hit him But I am acutely aware that it's bullschnit, they aren't even anywhere near the same age. Though weight might have been close at one or two stages

Vardinhio Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 Wikipedia is crazy, just checking up what you said and noticed a comment is now on there about his anal sex.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Gallagher_%28footballer%29#Career
BoneDog Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 Was reading John Barnes' Wikipedia yesterday and the first line cracked me up. "John Charles Bryan Barnes MBE (born 7 November 1963 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican-born English football manager, rapper and former football player."

ozleicester Posted 9 September 2011 Posted 9 September 2011 Apparently Gally mustve been listening to the rap... as it contains the immortal line "the only way to beat them is go around the back"
lcfc22 Posted 9 September 2011 Posted 9 September 2011 Who cares about gallys birthday and fryatt being a boxer?

stivesfox Posted 10 September 2011 Posted 10 September 2011 Had to laugh someone on the moan in mentioned Gallagher went to New York! Gallagher I would have thought would have used the break to improve and train harder! Gallagher is over rated and has won a nice little fan base to keep him comfortable, I was at game today did better when he went off, I personally feel over rated needs to nuckle down and re capture his form granted lost his place when he gets back in side offers nothing! Over rated in my book and if you are gonna go off on holiday dint brag to the world when ya playing shite!
